|b The present study aims to revealing the relationship between optimism and the quality of life among the secondary students. As well as to identify gender differences in optimism and quality of life. by following The Correlative methodology and the measure of optimism for Ahmad Abdul Khaliq (1996) and the musure of the quality of life for Kazem and Mensi (2006), and were applied the study sample on 30 students from the secondary school of Mashunesh in the state of Biskra. The study found that there was a statistically significant correlation between optimism and quality of life among second year secondary students, as well as statistically significant differences between the sexes in the optimism and quality of life among them.

|a تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن طبيعة العلاقة بين التفاؤل وجودة الحياة لدى تلاميذ السنة الثانية ثانوي، وكذلك التعرف على الفروق بين الجنسين في التفاؤل وجودة الحياة. وقد استخدم المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي ومقياسين: مقياس التفاؤل لأحمد عبد الخالق (1996)، ومقياس جودة الحياة لكاظم ومنسي (2006)، وتم تطبيقهما على عينة تكونت من (30) تلميذا وتلميذة من السنة الثانية ثانوي من ثانوية مشونش بولاية بسكرة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه توجد علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائيا بين التفاؤل وجودة الحياة لدى تلاميذ السنة الثانية ثانوي، وكذلك وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الجنسين في التفاؤل وفي جودة الحياة لدى أفراد العينة.
