|a يعالج هذا المقال قضية هامة في حقل تعليمية اللغة وهي قضية اكتساب اللغة الأم عند الطفل مستعرضاً أهم الاتجاهات الفكرية التي تناولت الموضوع؛ المتمثلة في: الاتجاه البنيوي في علم النفس الذي يمثله عالم النفس السويسري جان بياجيه والاتجاه الفطري في علم اللغة الحديث الذي يمثله اللغوي الأمريكي نوام تشومسكي. وقد حاول هذا المقال أن يقف عند أهم النقاط التي تمايزت بها كل نظرية عن الأخرى واعتمدتها في تفسير اكتساب اللغة مع تحديد آليات اشتغال كل نظرية ساعياً لتبيان مواطن الاختلاف بين النظريتين

|b This article deals with an important issue in the field of Language learning, the issue of acquisition of the mother tongue in the child. It reviewed the most important intellectual trends on the subject: the structural approach in psychology represented by the Swiss psychologist Jean Piaget and the innate tendency in linguistics represented by the American linguistics Noam Chomsky. This article attempted to stand at the most important points that distinguished each theory from the other one and adopted it in interpreting the acquisition of language and determining the mechanisms of each theory to seek to indicate the differences between the two theories
