المستخلص: The purpose of this article is to make a general presentation of the place of the study of the anaphora in the French language in the different linguistic currents which are situated in a phrastic approach namely distributionnalism, generative-transformational grammar and the functionalism, and those that approach the anaphora from a discursive point of view such as textual linguistics, linguistics enunciation, pragmatics and discourse analysis.

L’objectif de cet article est de faire une présentation générale de la place de l’étude de l’anaphore en langue française dans les différents courants linguistiques qui se situent dans une approche phrastique à savoir le distributionnalisme, la grammaire générative-transformationnelle et le fonctionnalisme, et celles qui abordent l’anaphore du point de vue discursif telles que la linguistique textuelle, la linguistique d’énonciation, la pragmatique et l’analyse du discours.
