|b This present study aimed at getting acknowledged with the extent of awareness of the parents and those who are responsible for the autistic children about the behavioral aspects in the capital Amman. Study population consisted of all parents of the autistic children in Amman. Their number is (1200) individual, while a purposeful sample is selected by (30) individuals. to achieve the study objectives. The researcher used the questionnaire as the main instrument for data collection, its validity and reliability were confirmed. After conducting the statistical analysis processes the researcher reached the following results. - The means and the standard deviations of the extent of awareness of the parents and these who are responsible for the autistic children about the behavioral aspects in children about the behavioral aspects in the capital Amman on the dimension verbal and non-verbal communication came at medium degree. - The presence of differences with statistically significance at level (α ≥ 0.05) in the extent of awareness of the parents and these who are responsible for the autistic children about the behavioral aspects in the capital Amman attribute to gender and to the educational level. The study recommended conducting workshop and seminars through which to develop the skills that the autistic children might acquire.

|a هدفت الدراسة الحالية للتعرف إلى مدى وعي أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد بالمظاهر السلوكية في العاصمة عمان. وقد تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أولياء أمور الأطفال المصابين باضطراب طيف التوحد في الأردن والبالغ عددهم (1200) فرداً، اختار منهم الباحثتان عينة قصدية بواقع (30) ولي أمر. ولتحقيق أغراض الدراسة استخدمت الباحثتان الاستبانة وقد تم التحقق من دلالات صدقها وثباتها. وبعد إجراء عملية التحليل الإحصائي توص لت الباحثتان إلى النتائج التالية: أن المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية لمدى وعي أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد بالمظاهر السلوكية في العاصمة عمان على بعد التواصل اللفظي وغير اللفظي كانت بدرجة متوسطة ووجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05 ≥ α) في مدى وعي أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد بالمظاهر السلوكية في العاصمة عمان تعزى لصالح النوع ولصالح المستوى التعليمي. ومن التوصيات ضرورة عمل ورشات وندوات يتم من خلالها تطوير المهارات التي يمكن اكتسابها لأطفال اضطراب طيف التوحد.
