يهدف البحث الحالي إلى تقويم فاعلية مدرسي اللغة العربية في ضوء مهارات التدريس الفعال ب: 1- تحديد مهارات التدريس الفعال لمدرسي اللغة العربية. 2- تقويم فاعلية مدرسي اللغة العربية في ضوء تلك المهارات. ولتحقيق هدف البحث اختار الباحث عينة من مدرسي اللغة العربية ومدرساتها الذين يقومون بتدريس المرحلة المتوسطة في مديرية تربية بابل/ قسم تربية الهاشمية للعام الدراسي 2014 -2015. بلغ عدد المدارس في قسم تربية الهاشمية (44) مدرسة منها (8) مدارس للبنين و(9) مدارس للبنات و(27) مدرسة مختلطة، استبعد الباحث العينة الاستطلاعية البالغة (4) مدارس، واختار الباحث (20) مدرسة متوسطة بأسلوب السحب العشوائي الطبقي من مجتمع البحث البالغ (40) مدرسة وبلغت عينة المدرسين (149) مدرسا ومدرسة وبعد استبعاد العينة الاستطلاعية البالغة (15) مدرسا ومدرسة وأصبحت العينة (134) مدرسا ومدرسة واعتمد الباحث جميع المدرسين في المدارس المسحوبة عشوائيا إذ بلغ حجم التطبيق الأساس (55) مدرسا ومدرسة شكلت نسبة مقداريا (04، 41) من مجتمع البحث. اعد الباحث قائمة بمهارات التدريس الفعال، معتمدا على عدد الإجراءات، منها توجيه استبانة مفتوحة إلى عدد من مدرسي اللغة العربية ومدرساتها والمشرفين التربويين والأساتذة المتخصصين باللغة العربية وطرائق تدريسها. وكانت أداة البحث استمارة الملاحظة تحتوي مهارات التدريس الفعال التي تم تحديدها، وتحقق الباحث من صدق وثبات الأداة، ولغرض الحد من التقدير عرض الباحث استمارة الملاحظة على نخبة من الخبراء. طبق الباحث استمارة الملاحظة بنفسه على عينة البحث وبعد الانتهاء من التطبيق، استخدم معامل ارتباط بيرسون والوسط المرجح والوزن المئوي ووسائل إحصائية لتحليل نتائج بحثه. وتوصل الباحث إلى عدد من الاستنتاجات منها: عدم اهتمام مدرسي اللغة العربية ومدرساتها بالخطة اليومية والتحضير المسبق، وأوصى الباحث إلى ضرورة تزويد مدرسي اللغة العربية ومدرساتها بمهارات التدريس الفعال وفتح مراكز للتعليم المستمر واقترح الباحث أجراء دراسة مماثلة تتناول المرحلة الإعدادية وبناء برنامج لتطوير أداء المدرسين في ضوء تلك المهارات.
