المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تعرف تقييم الشباب الجامعي لدور وسائل الإعلام المحلية في تحقيق متطلبات الأمن الثقافي داخل المجتمع السوري. تم تصميم مقياس الأمن الثقافي المؤلف من (36) بنداً، يتوزع على ثلاثة أبعاد لمعرفة الفروق بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة. بلغت عينة البحث (174) طالباً وطالبة، تم سحبها بشكل عشوائي من كلية التربية في جامعة دمشق، ومن تخصص (معلم صف، إرشاد نفسي، علم نفس). ولمعالجة المعلومات تم استخدام المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، وتحليل التباين الأحادي، واختبار (ت)، وقد توصل البحث إلى النتائج الآتية:
1- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 = a) بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة على بنود المقياس ككل وفقاً لمتغير الاختصاص (معلم صف، إرشاد نفسي، علم بنفس).
2- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 = a) بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة على بنود مقياس الأمن الثقافي ككل وفقاً لمتغير الجنس (ذكور، إناث).
3- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 = a) بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة على كل بعد من أبعاد مقياس الأمن الثقافي (التركيز على الذاتية أو الهوية الثقافية، التركيز على مفهوم الانتماء، التركيز على أهمية الانفتاح والحوار مع الثقافات الأخرى) وفقاً لمتغير الاختصاص (معلم صف، إرشاد نفسي، وعلم نفس).
4- عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05 = a) بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة على كل بعد من أبعاد مقياس الأمن الثقافي (التركيز على الذاتية أو الهوية الثقافية، التركيز على مفهوم الانتماء، التركيز على أهمية الانفتاح والحوار مع الثقافات الأخرى) وفقاً لمتغير الجنس (ذكور، إناث).

The aim of this research is to identify the evaluation of university youth for the role of the local media means in achieving cultural security requirements within the Syrian society. The Cultural Security Scale, consisting of 36 items, is divided into three dimensions to determine the differences between the average grades of students. The research sample reached (174) male and female students, which was randomly withdrawn from the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus, from the departments of (classroom teacher, psychological counseling, psychology). For the treatment of information, arithmetic means, standard deviations, one-way analysis of variance, and t-test were used, The research has reached the following results:
1- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) among the students' average scores on the items of the scale as a whole according to the specialization variable (classroom teacher, psychological counseling, psychology).
2 - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) among the average scores of students on the items of cultural security scale as a whole according to gender variable (males, females).
3 - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) among the average scores of students on each dimension of the cultural security scale (emphasis on subjectivity or cultural identity, emphasis on the concept of belonging, and the importance of openness and dialogue with other cultures) according to the specialization variable (classroom teacher, psychological counseling, psychology).
4 - There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a = 0.05) among the average scores of students on each dimension of the cultural security scale (emphasis on subjectivity or cultural identity, emphasis on the concept of belonging, emphasis on the importance of openness and dialogue with other cultures) according to the gender variable (males, females).
