هدف البحث إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين الكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم والصلابة النفسية لأمهاتهم. والتعرف عما إذا كانت هناك فروق في هذه المتغيرات تعزى إلى متغير الجنس، والمستوى الاقتصادي الاجتماعي، والمستوى التعليمي للأم وق استخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتكونت العينة الاستطلاعية من (36) أم من أمهات التلاميذ والتلميذات ذوي صعوبات التعلم، و(36) تلميذ وتلميذة من أبنائهن، وذلك للتحقق من صدق وثبات أدوات البحث، كما تكونت العينة الفعلية من (83) أم من أمهات التلاميذ والتلميذات ذوي صعوبات التعلم، و(83) تلميذ وتلميذة من أبنائهن الملتحقين بغرفة المصادر بالمدارس الابتدائية بمدينة نجران بالمملكة العربية السعودية. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قامت الباحثة بإعداد مقياسين لقياس متغيرات البحث وهما: مقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية، ومقياس الصلابة النفسية. وقد أسفرت النتائج عن: 1- تمتع أمهات الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم بمستوى عال من الصلابة النفسية، بينما كان مستوى الكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى التلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم بدرجة متوسطة. 2- عدم وجود علاقة دالة إحصائياً بين الدرجة الكلية للكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم والدرجة الكلية لأمهاتهم في الصلابة النفسية. 3- عدم وجود فروق بين مرتفعي ومنخفضي الكفاءة الاجتماعية من الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم في الصلابة النفسية لأمهاتهم. 4- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في الدرجة الكلية للكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، المستوى الاقتصادي الاجتماعي المستوى التعليمي للأم. 5- عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الدرجة الكلية للصلابة النفسية لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم تعزى لمتغير جنس الطفل. 6- وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الدرجة الكلية للصلابة النفسية للأمهات تعزى لكل من متغير (المستوى الاقتصادي الاجتماعي والمستوى التعليمي).
The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between social competence in children with learning difficulties and the psychological rigidity of their mothers And to identify whether there were differences in these variables due sex-variable, the economic level, and the educational level the mother. The researcher used-the descriptive analytical method. The survey consisted of (36) mothers of pupils with learning disabilities -and 36 students of their children, in order to verify the validity and stability of the research tools. The actual sample consisted of (83) mothers of pupils with learning disabilities, and (83) students and students of their children enrolled in the resource room in primary schools in Najran, Saudi Arabia. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared two measures to measure the research variables: the social efficiency scale, and the measure of psychological rigidity. Results have resulted in: 1. The mothers of children with learning difficulties enjoyed a high level of psychological rigidity, while the level of social competence among pupils with learning difficulties was moderate. 2. There is no statistically significant relationship between the total degree of social competence in children with learning difficulties and the overall degree of their mothers in mental rigidity. 3. There are no differences between the high and low social efficiency of children with learning difficulties in the mental rigidity of their mothers. 4. There are no statistically significant differences in the overall degree of social competence in children with learning difficulties due to the gender variables, the socioeconomic level, the educational level of the mother. 5. There are no statistically significant differences in the overall degree of psychological rigidity among the mothers of children with learning difficulties due to the gender variable of the child. 6. There are statistically significant differences in the overall degree of psychological strength of mothers attributed to each variable (socioeconomic level and educational level).
