المستخلص: Some of the Iraqi cities have passed through impressive crises. The basis of these crises is the hegemony over the mentality of some of the people in these communities. The results of this hegemony are displacement and destruction. However, the question to be raised is what pushed these people to adopt alien thoughts? One of the reason behind this situation might be the lack of enough intellectual immunity to stand against this perverse thought. Thus, these people adopted intellectual idolism and became imprisoned by a stagnant mentality that deters development, progress and dialogue. They are passing through darkness that destroyed them and their communities. In light of this, the study aims to measure the level of intellectual immunity and idol thought for the students at the University of Anbar. It attempts to answer the following question; Is there any relationship between intellectual immunity and idol thought? To address this question, the study adopts the analytical descriptive approach which quantitatively and qualitatively describes this phenomenon via collecting data and classifying them for analysis and finding relations among the different variables of the phenomenon in order to explain it. The study sample consists of 210 female and male students at the College of Education for Humanities and the College of Education for Pure Sciences. Two instrument have been used to measure the intellectual immunity and the idol thought. In addition, validity and reliability tests have been carried out using suitable statistical tools. The findings of the study indicate a medium level of intellectual immunity and no idolism thought among the study sample, whereby the mean was less than the average. There are no statistically significant differences in gender or field of specialization in immunity and idol thought. The reasons behind this can be attributed to the homogeneity of the conditions surrounding all participants in the study. There has been a correlative reverse relationship between immunity and idolism, i.e., the higher the intellectual immunity, the lower the idol thought. This finding is reasonable since ideas in the minds of people represent the main dynamo and the motive of all their activities and behaviors. The more these ideas are sound and based on scientific, rational and logical basis, the more the people become developed, creative and ready to sacrifice.

مرت بعض مدن العراق بأزمة خانقة، أساسها السيطرة على فكر بعض من أفراد مجتمعه، وغزوهم فكريا في عقر دارهم، كان أثرها النزوح وهجرة والدمار، ما الذي دعى لهذه المجموعة من مجتمعنا أن تنساق وراء أفكار غريبة لم تكن في مجتمعنا من قبل، قد يكون أحد الأسباب لم تكن لديهم الحصانة الفكرية الكافية لصد هذا الفكر المنحرف، وقد تبنوا مبدأ الصنمية الفكرية، وأصبحوا أسرى لفكر متوقف لا يقبل التجدد والتطور ولا المناقشة أنهم في ضلال دمروا مجتمعهم وأنفسهم. يهدف البحث: إلى قياس كلا من مستوى الحصانة الفكرية، والصنمية الفكرية لدى طلبة جامعة الأنبار وهل توجد علاقة بينهما؟ اتبع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يصف الظاهرة المدروسة وصفًا كميًا وكيفيًا من خلال جمع المعلومات وتصنيفها، ومن ثم تحليلها وكشف العلاقة بين أبعادها المختلفة من أجل تفسيرها تمثل مجتمع البحث من كليتي التربية للعلوم الإنسانية والتربية وللعلوم الصرفة، وبلغ عينة البحث 210 طالب وطالبة لتمثل نسبة 20% من مجتمع البحث، وأعد أداتين، الأول مقياس الحصانة الفكرية، والثاني مقياس الحصانة الفكرية وأجريت للمقاييس الصدق والثبات واستخدمت الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة. وكان من نتائج البحث: وجود حصانة فكرية بمستوى متوسط ولا توجد صنمية فكرية لدى عينة البحث حيث كان متوسط الحسابي أقل من متوسط الفرضي لها، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس أو التخصص في كلا من الحصانة والصنمية الفكرية وتعزى هذه كون الظروف المحيطة بالفرد واحدة بالنسبة للطلاب والطالبات وأيضا وفق متغير التخصص والكل اكتوى بنار الصنمية المقيتة والفكر المنغلق. وتوجد علاقة ارتباطية متوسطة عكسية بين الحصانة والصنمية، أي كلما ارتفعت الحصانة الفكرية قلت الصنمية الفكرية، تأتي النتيجة منطقية لأن الأفكار التي يحملها الإنسان في ذهنه هي المحرك والدافع الرئيسي في جميع أنشطته وحركاته وسلوكياته، فكلما كانت تلك الأفكار سليمة ومرتكزة على أسس عقلية وعلمية ومنطقية كلما كان الإنسان أكثر تقدمًا وعطاءًا وتضحية.
