|a إن أهمية التربية الفنية تنبع من القيمة البالغة للفن في الحياة وفي التربية بصورة خاصة ويؤكد "أفلاطون" على أن يكون الفن أساسا للتربية وبذلك تسهم في بناء شخصية المتعلمين لأنها تتيح لهم استخدام حواسهم وقدراتهم وممارسة المهارات المتعددة لتصقل قابلياتهم وتنمو قدراتهم وتتطور مهاراتهم وتتحول كل هذه إلى خبرات مستمرة قد يكون لها دور مؤثر في توجيه مستقبلهم فضلا عن أن مدرس التربية الفنية يتمتع بمهارات تدريسية تمنح المتعلم فرصة لإنتاج أعمال فنية يتوقعون تقدير المشاهدين لها واستمتاعهم بما يرونه في أعين هؤلاء المشاهدين من إعجاب وتقدير لأعمالهم مما يؤدي إلى ترصين مشاعرهم وبذلك فإن الطلبة الذين يمتلكون المهارات التدريسية سيكونون أكثر قدرة من غيرهم على مساعدة المتعلمين للإنتاج المهاري، ولإنجاح هذه الغاية بصورة تتلائم وأهمية المهارات التدريسية، كان لابد من إتباع أسس علمية تمكننا من تحقيق هذه الغاية وذلك عبر المتابعة وإتباع معايير نظام الجودة العالمي الذي من شأنه أن يؤسس كادرا تدريسيا يتمتع بخبرة ودراية تأهله للقيام بالواجبات الدراسية واتباع أسلوب "التقويم" الذي يشخص المشكلات والصعوبات التي يواجهها المدرسون في عملهم التعليمي والعمل على تذليلها، فضلا عن أنه يساعد المدرسين على إدراك مدى تحقيقهم للأهداف التي أرادوا إنجازها عبر التدريس عبر معايير نظام الجودة.
