المستخلص: Information quality plays a pivotal role in the decision-making process, this research aims mainly to study the impact of the dimensions of information quality in construction firms operating in Syria on the quality of decision-making and to identify the most influential dimension in the interpretation of this quality. The researcher had followed the descriptive approach- survey in the study based on the problem of the study and objectives that he seeks to achieve, and included a study population of all construction firms working in Syria, the researcher used a measure of information quality that developer by (Alenezi, 2013), and another instrument to measure the quality of decision-making designed by (Donelan, 2013). The findings of this study shows that There is significant positive relationship between the dependent variable quality of decision-making and the four dimensions of information quality namely (soundness- dependability- usefulness- usability) is a positive and significant relationship, and information quality as a whole explain what percentage of (21.16%) of the quality of decision-making. The most important recommendations reached by the researcher that the construction firms working in Syria should define IQ in a contextual approach because quality criteria, which could be used to assess IQ, can differ according to the context. And this firms are recommended to concentrate on soundness dimension of IQ as it is the most important in influencing the quality of decision making.

تلعب المعلومات دورا محوريا في عملية اتخاذ القرارات، يهدف هذا البحث بشكل أساسي إلى دراسة أثر أبعاد جودة المعلومات في شركات المقاولات العاملة في سورية على جودة اتخاذ القرارات وتحديد البعد الأكثر تأثيرا وأهميته في تفسير هذه الجودة. تم إتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي في الدراسة، وشمل مجتمع الدراسة كافة شركات المقاولات العاملة في سورية، وبلغ حجم عينة الدراسة 80 وحدة معاينة واعتمد الباحث على المعاينة الاحتمالية حيث استخدم المعاينة العشوائية البسيطة، واستخدم الباحث مقياسا لمستوى جودة المعلومات مصمما من قبل (Alenezi, 2013)، ومقياسا لجودة اتخاذ القرارات مصمم من قبل (Donelan, 2013). تبين من خلال الدراسة بأن العلاقة بين المتغير المستقل جودة المعلومات والمتغير التابع جودة اتخاذ القرارات إيجابية وهامة عند مستوى معنوية (5%)، حيث تفسر جودة المعلومات ما نسبته (21.2%) من التغير الحاصل في جودة اتخاذ القرارات. استنادا إلى نتائج البحث نوصي بضرورة أن تقوم شركات المقاولات العاملة في سورية بتعريف جودة المعلومات وفقا لسياق الاستخدام، بالإضافة إلى التركيز على بعد سلامة المحتوى لأنه البعد الأكثر أهمية من أبعاد جودة المعلومات في تفسير جودة اتخاذ القرارات.
