|a تتميز المجتمعات الافريقية بتنوع أشكال التعددية وأنماطها، سواء تعددية إثنية ولغوية ودينية، فمثلا على الصعيد اللغوي نجد أن هناك أكثر من 2000 لغة ولهجة، وعلى صعيد التعدد الديني يشهد الواقع الافريقي تعددية في الأديان، وهي الإسلام والمسيحية وبعض الأديان التقليدية التي لا تخرج عن نطاقها الجغرافي.
