المستخلص: Inspiré d'un fait divers, le roman de Suzanne Jacob, L'obéissance, raconte l'histoire d'un infanticide. Le silence dans ce roman emprunte des voies détournées pour dire les violences subies dans certaines familles par les enfants. L'auteure établit une stratégie du silence dont la fragmentation, les personnages en double, le dit et le non dit, la répétition, pour raconter l'inénarrable : le meurtre d'une fillette par sa propre mère. Suzanne Jacob soulève des problèmes sociaux et s'intéresse en particulier aux relations à l'intérieur des familles, elle soulève le problème de l'incommunicabilité.

Inspired by sporadic events, Susan Jacob's "Obedience" book tells the story of the killing of young people (children). Silence in the book borrows twisted ways to detect violence against children in families. The writer follows the technique of silence among them, fragmentation, and schizophrenia, what is said and not, repetition, to tell what is difficult to tell — Murder of a child by her mother. Susan Jacob raises social problems and is particularly interested in internal family relationships, provoking problems of lack of communication.

مستوحات من أحداث متفرقة كتاب سوزان جاكوب "الطاعة" يروي قصة قتل حديثي العهد (الأطفال).
الصمت في الكتاب يستعير طرق ملتوية بغية كشف العنف الذي يتعرض له الأطفال في العائلات، الكاتبة تتبع تقنية السكوت من بينها، التجزئة، الانفصام، ما يقال و ما لا يقال، التكرار، لسرد ما يعسر سرده. جريمة قتل طفلة من قبل أمها. سوزان جاكوب تثير مشاكل اجتماعية وتهتم تحديدًا بالعلاقات الأسرية الداخلية، مثيرة مشاكل انعدام التواصل.
