|b This research examines the methodological relevance of the aptitude tests used in Algerian universities to evaluate students in the mastery of specialized French in reading comprehension and writing. This study, conducted in the laboratory LIPFLS at the Faculty of Economics of the University Mustapha Stambouli, confronts the results of two tests: the first being French as a general language and the second specialty. The comparative study should provide information on the methodological quality of the two tools in terms of reliability, sensitivity, transparency and validity.

|d La présente recherche s’interroge sur la pertinence méthodologique des tests d’aptitudes exploités dans les universités algériennes et est destinés à évaluer les étudiants quant à la maitrise du français de spécialité en compréhension et en production de l’écrit. Cette étude menée au sein du laboratoire LIPFLS et conduite dans la faculté d’économie de l’université Mustapha Stambouli de Mascara, confronte les résultats obtenus de deux tests : le premier étant de français langue général et le second de spécialité. Afin de renseigner sur la qualité méthodologique des deux outils en termes de fiabilité, faisabilité, transparence et validité.
