هدف البحث إلى: التعرف على دور المدرسة الثانوية الفنية نظام السنوات الثلاث في تنمية بعض قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها، والوقوف على التحديات التي تحد من ممارسة قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها، ولتحقيق ذلك صمم الباحث أداة استبيان مكونة من (30) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات: الولاء والانتماء، حقوق المواطنة، واجبات المواطنة وطبقت على عينة قدرت ب (113) من المديرين والوكلاء والمعلمين في المدارس الثانوية الفنية، وقد كانت أبرز النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث ما يلي: أن مستوى دور المدرسة كان ضعيفا في تنمية بعض قيم المواطنة بشكل عام، وجاء مجال دور الولاء والانتماء في الرتبة الأولى بمستوى متوسط، أما المجالات الأخرى فقد كان ترتيبها على التوالي: واجبات المواطنة، وحقوق المواطنة وكلها جاءت بمستوى ضعيف. كما أظهرت النتائج أن المدرسة يمكن أن تقوم بتحمل مسئولياتها في ترسيخ وتنمية قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها من خلال تفعيل العناصر المكونة لمنظومة الإعداد مثل المناخ المدرسي، الأنشطة المدرسية، المقررات الدراسية. وفي ضوء ذلك قدم الباحث تصورا مقترحا لتفعيل دور المدرسة الثانوية الفنية لتنمية بعض قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها، بأهدافه، ومنطلقاته، ومحاوره وآليات تفعيله.

The others fields were arranged as follow, role of school activity and the duties of citizenship and citizenship right came at a weak level. The results show that the school can assume its responsibilities in establishing and developing citizenship values. This is do not through activating the components if the system and preparation such as the school climate, school activities and courses. The research presented a proposed to activate the role of technical school to develop some values of citizenship for students. School used goals and starting points to activate its role.
