المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الراهنة إلى معرفة طبيعة العلاقة بين التعاطف والرضا الوظيفي لدى معلمي التربية الخاصة، والكشف عن درجة إسهام التعاطف في التنبؤ بالرضا الوظيفي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (٢٠٠) معلم للتربية الخاصة بمحافظة المنيا، بالمراكز الآتية: (مغاغة، بني مزار، مطاي، سمالوط، المنيا، ملوي)، ومن ثلاث فئات من مدارس التربية الخاصة (صم، مكفوفين، معاقين عقليا)، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، واشتملت أدوات الدراسة على مقياس التعاطف لمعلمي التربية الخاصة (إعداد الباحث)، ومقياس الرضا الوظيفي (ترجمة: فاروق عبد الفتاح موسى، ٢٠٠٦). وقد أسفرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطية طردية دالة بين التعاطف والرضا الوظيفي لدى معلمي التربية الخاصة، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيا بين معلمي التربية الخاصة مرتفعي التعاطف ومنخفضي التعاطف في درجة الرضا الوظيفي وفي اتجاه مرتفعي التعاطف، كما كشفت الدراسة إمكانية التنبؤ بالرضا الوظيفي من خلال التعاطف لدى عينة الدراسة.

The title of the study is The Sympathy and its relation to the occupational satisfaction for a sample of the teachers of the special education. The Purpose of Study is to detecting the relation 'between The Sympathy and the occupational satisfaction, Determining the differences between the teachers of the-special education of high arid low Sympathy at the grade of Occupational Satisfaction, and detecting- the grade of Sympathy contribution at predicting -.the occupational satisfaction of the teachers of the special education schools, The Sample of study was consisted of (200) teachers of the teachers of the special education chosen by a-random sample which is representing all the individuals of the study community. Those Teacher are distributed on all the offices of Education of the general administration of Education. The Study Methodology: Correlative descriptive methodology since it is suitable for the current study aims. The Study Tools are: 1- The Sympathy scale: Prepared by (Researcher) 2- Occupational Satisfaction Scale: Arabization (Mousa, 2006. The most important Results in study is a positive correlation relationship at the level of significance of (0.01) between the average of the grades of the teachers of the special education on the total grade of The Sympathy scale and some of its dimensions. There are statistically significant differences between those of high Sympathy and those of low Sympathy at the occupational satisfaction and it’s all dimensions The results of the study showed that The Sympathy is contributing statistically at predicting the occupational satisfaction for the sample of the study.
