|a استهدفت هذه الدراسة الكشف عن العلاقة بين التسويف الأكاديمي، وكل من أساليب التفكير، ومداخل الدراسة السائدة لدى طلاب كلية التربية بالوادي الجديد، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (300) طالب وطالبة، منهم (150) طالبا و(150) طالبة من طلاب الفرقة الثالثة، واستخدم الباحثان في الدراسة مقياس التسويف الأكاديمي الذي طوره الباحثان، وقائمة أساليب التفكير لـــ (1991) Sternberg & Wagner ترجمة وتعريب السيد محمد أبو هاشم (2007)، ومقياس مداخل الدراسة ترجمة وتعريب السيد محمد أبو هاشم (2006). وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين التسويف الأكاديمي وأساليب التفكير (التشريعي، والتنفيذي، والحكمي، والمحلي، والمتحرر، والهرمي، والملكي، والأقلي، والخارجي)، ووجود علاقة سالبة ودالة إحصائيا بين التسويف الأكاديمي ومدخلي الدراسة (العميق، والاستراتيجي)، كما وجدت الدراسة أن الذكور أكثر تسويفا من الإناث.

|b The study aims at investigating the relationship between academic procrastination, thinking styles and Approach to Studying among students of the New Valley College of Education. The sample of the study consists of (150) males and (150) females with a total of (300) graduate and undergraduate students. To achieve the aim of the study, an academic procrastination scale, was developed and used by the researches in addition to the List of Thinking Styles prepared by Mohammed Abu Hashem (2007) and approach to studying scale which was translated into Arabic by Mohammed Abu Hashem (2006). Study results indicated a negative correlation between thinking styles (legislative methods, executive, estoppel, local, liberal, hierarchical, royal, minority, and external) and academic procrastination and there is a negative correlation statistically significant between the academic procrastination and approach to studying (deep, and strategic). and the study found also males are more Academic Procrastination than females.
