|b Peace is not the fruit of hazard; it is established in the strict respect of others, which means in a society of justice, of equity and solidarity. The society has realized that its main asset is the individual, place of all the challenges of its continuity and its survival. The school is this institution that forges the spirits and forms the future citizen; it is also the first place of socialization of the individual. For this purpose, we can read the preamble of the chart of the UNESCO: «It's in the mind of men that the wars born, it is in their minds that peace defense has to be raised. In this moment, the questioning that is imposed is: what does the school do in matter of peace? To answer partially, the present work assigns to list the educative society of the content of the manuel texts of French language of first year of secondary school, of the notion « peace » in a given society (Algeria). The text in this case the literary one, in addition to its importance in the learning of language serves to understand life, Todorov cites the association or professors « studies of letters returns to study human being, its relationship to himself and to the world and its relation to others.

|d La paix n’est pas le fruit du hasard elle s’instaure dans le strict respect d’autrui c'est à-dire dans une société de justice, d’équité et de solidarité. La société a réalisé que, son atout principal est l’individu, lieu de tous les enjeux de sa continuité et de sa survie. L’école est cette institution qui forge les esprits et forme les futurs citoyens, c’est aussi le premier lieu de socialisation de l’individu. A cet effet, on peut lire dans le préambule de la charte de l’UNESCO: «c'est dans l'esprit des hommes que naissent les guerres, c'est dans leur esprit qu'il faut ériger les défenses de la paix». En ce moment, le questionnement qui s’impose : que fait l’école en matière de «Paix»? Pour y répondre partiellement, le présent travail s’assigne à répertorier, analyser et décrire la portée éducative du contenu des textes du manuel de langue française de la premières année secondaire, de la notion «paix» dans une société donnée (l’Algérie). Le texte littéraire, en plus de son importance dans l’apprentissage de la langue, sert à comprendre la vie, Todorov cite l’association des professeurs «L’étude des lettres revient à étudier l’homme, son rapport à lui-même et au monde et son rapport aux autres»
