In the present presentation project, we intend to reflect that the use of an accurate law terminology is absolutely relevant when translating court/legal documents within the framework of such important institutions as the authorities in the Judicial body of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Autonomous Government), amongst others. Equally, we would like to highlight the importance of a solid theoretical education, as well as a practical one, so as to solve the translation problems of each document to provide it with an equivalent meaning to that of its original text, as regards the framework where it is contextualized. Finally, we will analyze the different texts commissioned to be translated; emphasizing the specific terminology used and a humble glossary will be created. En la presente comunicación, pretendemos poner de manifiesto que el uso de una terminología jurídica adecuada y correcta resulta muy relevante a la hora de traducir documentos judiciales en el seno de instituciones tan importantes como son los órganos judiciales de la Administración de Justicia de la Generalitat Valenciana, entre otros. Igualmente, resaltamos la importancia de una sólida preparación académica y otra profesional para poder solventar los problemas de traducción que se nos plantean con cada documento, con el fin de que tenga un valor similar a su original dado el ámbito en el que se enmarca. Además, intentaremos analizar diferentes encargos propios de esta administración resaltando la terminología específica y elaborando un modesto glosario. |
