المستخلص: يتعين على المترجم أن يمر بثلاث مراحل أساسية في عملية نقله لنص ما، سواء كان شفهيا أو كان مكتوبا، وهي: القراءة والفهم وإعادة الصياغة، غير أن هذه المراحل المترابطة والمتكاملة فيما بينها غير كافية للكشف عن العمليات الذهنية المعقدة التي يقوم بها دماغ المترجم، الأمر الذي يفسر اللجوء حديثا إلى تطورات علم النفس المعرفي لإدراك الآليات الذهنية والمناهج العملية التي تسلط الضوء على كيفية تحويل أفكار المترجم إلى تعبير لفظي وكذا وفهمها، وعنه انبثقت إشكالية بحثنا: ما هو منظور المناهج والبروتوكولات التي درست عمليات التخزين ومعالجة المعلومات المرئية والشفهية بواسطة نظام ذاكرة المترجم؟ وهي الإشكالية الأساسية التي سنحاول من خلالها عرض مختلف الوظائف المعرفية المتصلة بعمليات تخزين المعلومات وتحليليها واستيعابها، وأخيرا استرجاعها في العمل الترجمي، وذلك باتخاذ نموذج "ذاكرة العمل" ل بادلي (Baddeley) مثالا لذلك من أجل التعرف على قدرات المترجم المعرفية وسير عملياته الذهنية.

The translator must go through three basic stages in the process of transmitting a text, whether oral or written, which are: reading, understanding and rewriting. However these interrelated and integrated phases are not sufficient to detect complex mental processes performed by the translator’s brain, this explains the recent use of cognitive psychology developments to understand mental mechanisms and practical approaches that highlight how to turn the translator’s ideas into verbal expression. So the problematic of our research is: What is the vision of methods and protocols which studied storage and processing of visual and oral information by the translator’s memory system? We will try to present the various cognitive functions related to storage, processing, assimilation and retrieval of information to accomplish the translating act by taking the “work memory” model of Braddeley as an example. The aim is to focus on the cognitive abilities of the translator and his mental processes.

Pour traduire un texte, oral ou écrit, le traducteur est sans doute obligé de passer par trois étapes des plus importantes: la lecture, la compréhension et la réexpression, mais ces phases étroitement liées et complémentaires ne peuvent dévoiler pleinement les opérations mentales complexes exécutées par le cerveau du traducteur. D’où le recours aux progrès de la psychologie cognitive afin de comprendre les mécanismes mentaux et les méthodes pratiques révélant la manière de verbaliser la pensée du traducteur. De là émerge notre problématique: Quelle est la vision des méthodes et protocoles ayant étudié les opérations de stockage et de traitement des informations visuelles et verbales par le système mnésique du traducteur ? Notre étude tente d’exposer, à travers la méthode de la mémoire de travail (MDT) de Baddeley, les multiples tâches cognitives relatives aux opérations de stockage, de traitement, d’assimilation et enfin de restitution des informations pour accomplir l’acte traductif.
