|b The present study aimed to identify The The extent of employing information and communication technology in supporting the relationship between the school and the local community in the South - Alsharqia Governorate, Sultanate of Oman, study used a descriptive method ,also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (121) community members. The findings of the study showed the Degree of the extent of employing information and communication technology in supporting the relationship between the school and the local community was came generally medium; Results also showed that there were no significant differences at (a < 0.05) in the study variables which are age , academic level and job.

|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مدى توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال في تدعيم العلاقة بين المدرسة والمجتمع المحلي في محافظة جنوب الشرقية بسلطنة عمان، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، تم جمع البيانات والمعلومات عن طريق استبانة تم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (121) من أفراد المجتمع المحلي وتوصلت الدراسة إلى العديد من النتائج أهمها: أن واقع توظيف تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصال في تدعيم العلاقة بين المدرسة والمجتمع المحلي في محافظة جنوب الشرقية بسلطنة عمان جاء بدرجة متوسطة بشكل عام، كما توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0,05 ≥a) في استجابات عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير النوع الاجتماعي لصالح الإناث كما توصلت الدراسة أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0,05 ≥a) في استجابات عينة الدراسة تعزى لمتغير العمر، المؤهل العلمي، والوظيفة.
