In this article, we try to examine a synthesis of semantic equivalence in bilingual French-Arabic dictionaries. In the first place, we propose to present a list of roles of the bilingual French-Arabic dictionaries. Second, we try to locate the status of the bilingual dictionary in relation to the translation operation. We aim to submit functional practices to the question of semantic equivalence of a corpus of idiomatic expressions that the bilingual Franco-Arab dictionaries occupy in this period of intensified exchanges between linguistic communities. Dans cet article nous essayons d’examiner une synthèse de la question d’équivalence sémantique dans les dictionnaires bilingues franco-arabes. Nous tenterons en premier lieu de passer en revue quelques rôles des dictionnaires bilingues français-arabes; En deuxième lieu, nous allons situer le statut du dictionnaire bilingue par rapport à l’opération de traduction; mais aussi, par soumettre des pratiques fonctionnelles de la question d’équivalence sémantique d’un corpus des expressions idiomatiques que revêtent les dictionnaires bilingues franco-arabes dans cette époque où s’intensifient les échanges entre les communautés linguistiques. |
