المستخلص: ينطلق البحث من التمييز بين الترجمة باعتبارها عملية تواصل تنتمي إلى الخطاب وتعتمد على ظروف المقام، وبين "الترجمة" في المعجم الثنائي التي تنتمي إلى اللغة، وتقوم على البحث عن المقابلات بين الوحدات المعجمية في اللغتين. وتهتم الورقة بدراسة الألفاظ العربية المولدة في معجم المنهل الثنائي الفرنسي – العربي، وطرائق توليدها، والمؤشرات التي يمكن أن تكون قرائن على هذا التوليد.

This research distinguishes between translation viewed as a communicative process which belongs to the realm of discourse taking into account the context of the situation and "translation" in the bilingual dictionary which belongs to the realm of language and which seeks to find correspondences between the lexical units of two languages. The paper studies Arabic neologisms in the bilingual French-Arabic dictionary of al-Manhal, their means of creation, and the clues that indicate this creative process.

Cette recherche part de l’opposition entre la traduction considérée comme un acte de communication qui appartient au discours et qui prend en compte les circonstances de la situation et «la traduction» dans le dictionnaire bilingue qui appartient à la langue et qui cherche les correspondances entre les unités lexicales des deux langues. Elle analyse les néologismes arabes dans le dictionnaire bilingue français-arabe al-Manhal, leurs moyens de création, et les indices qui permettraient leur identification.
