المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على اقتناء الأنظمة الآلية في المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا وذلك من خلال دراسة العوامل التي تؤثر على اقتناء هذه الأنظمة والأساليب العلمية التي ينبغي اتباعها عند الاقتناء وذلك تسهيلا للقيام باختيار النظام الأفضل لتلبية هذه الاحتياجات والمتطلبات. كما هدفت الدراسة أيضا إلى التعرف على القائم باختيار هذه الأنظمة ودوره ومسئولياتها والدوافع وراء الرغبة في الاستخدام والاقتناء للأنظمة الآلية في المكتبات المدرسية بدلا من أساليب العمل التقليدي والوقوف على المعوقات التي تحول دون اقتناء المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا الأنظمة الآلية أو استخدامها الاستخدام الأمثل. واعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الميداني لتجميع البيانات الخاصة بموضوع البحث وتحليلها من خلال استمارة الاستبيان الموجة للعاملين بالمكتبات المدرسية. وكان من أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن أخصائي المكتبة هو المسئول الأول عن قرار اختيار الأنظمة الآلية في المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا وليس هناك سياسة موحدة وعملية متبعة عند اختيار واقتناء الأنظمة الآلية داخل المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا وكان الدافع الأكبر لأخصائيو المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا لاقتناء الأنظمة الآلية في توفير الوقت والجهد والتقليص من تكرار العمليات الفنية والإدارية بالمكتبة للتخفيف من الأعباء الوظيفية على عاتقهم فضلا عن الرغبة في تقديم خدمات جديدة للمستفيدين من خلال الأنظمة الآلية وكانت المعوقات المادية هي أكثر المعوقات التي تحول دون اقتناء الأنظمة الآلية في المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا. وأوصت الدراسة بمراعاة الأساليب الصحيحة والحديثة عند التخطيط لاقتناء نظام آلي بالمكتبات المدرسية بما يتناسب مع احتياجاتها ومتطلباتها والخدمات المرجوه منها، وحث المؤسسات المركزية بدعم المكتبات المدرسية بمحافظة قنا بتوفير الإمكانيات المادية اللازمة لها حتى يتسنى لها توفير الأجهزة والمتطلبات اللازمة لاقتناء الأنظمة الآلية واستخدامها.

This study aims to shed light on the automated systems used in school libraries through identify ways and means and procedures for their acquisition based on the policies and needs of the school library, and in line with its services and activities provided to facilitate the selection of the best system to meet these, The study also aimed to identify the person who chooses these systems, their role, responsibilities and motives behind the desire to use and acquire automated systems in school libraries instead of the traditional methods of work and to identify the obstacles that prevent the acquisition of school libraries in Qena Governorate by automated systems or optimal use of them. The study relied on the field approach for collecting and analyzing data related to the research topic through the questionnaire form. The study reached many results, the most important of which are that the library specialist is the first responsible for the decision to choose automated systems in school libraries in Qena Governorate and there is no unified and practical policy followed when choosing automated systems in school libraries in Qena Governorate, the extent of the severe need for these libraries. To acquire automated systems and rely on them to provide the required services and dispense with traditional work in the performance of office tasks, as well as the desire to provide new services to the beneficiaries through automated systems, the material obstacles were the most common obstacles preventing the acquisition of automated systems in school libraries in Qena Governorate. The study recommended following the correct and modern methods when planning to acquire an automated system in school libraries ln proportion their needs, requirements and the desired services, and invite the central institutions to support school libraries in Qena Governorate to provide the necessary financial capabilities for them so that they can provide the necessary equipment and requirements to acquire and use automatic systems.
