هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف العلاقة بين الذكاء المكاني الصوري والتفكير التخيلي لدى أطفال الروضة طبق البحث على عينة من (١٠٠) طفل وطفلة بواقع (٥٠) طفل و(٥٠) طفلة ممن هم بعمر (٥- ٦) سنوات في الصف التمهيدي تم اختيارهم عشوائيا من (١٠) روضات بواقع (١٠) طفلا وطفلة من كل روضة من المديرية العامة لتربية بغداد الرصافة الثانية ولتحقيق أهداف البحث. تم بناء اختبارين الأول اختبار الذكاء المكاني الصوري تكون من ثلاثة مجالات و(٢١) فقرة أمام كل فقرة بديلين (نعم، لا) وتم التحقق من خصائصها السيكومترية (الصدق والثبات) والثاني اختبار التفكير التخيلي تكون من ثمانية فقرات وتم تحليل الفقرات منطقيا وإحصائيا وحساب (الصدق والثبات) وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائيا تبين أن أطفال العينة يملكون الذكاء المكاني الصوري وبعد مقارنة الفروق بين الذكور والإناث تبين وجود فروق لصالح الذكور فضلا عن امتلاك الأطفال التفكير التخيلي وعدم توفر فروق بين الذكور والإناث وتم حساب العلاقة الارتباطية بين الذكاء المكاني الصوري والتفكير التخيلي فتبين وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة وموجبة بين الذكاء المكاني الصوري والتفكير التخيلي الأطفال الروضة.
