المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية التعرف إلى ماهية البحث النوعي وخصائصه، وكذلك المنطلقات النظرية والفلسفية للبحث النوعي، بالإضافة إلى الكشف عن معوقات أجراء البحوث النوعية في مجال أصول التربية، وسبل التغلب عليها. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج النقدي، واستخدمت بطاقة المقابلة كأحدي طرق البحث النوعي للكشف عن معوقات إجراء البحوث النوعية من وجهة نظر مجموعة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات المصرية. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن أننا بحاجة إلى إجراء البحوث الفرعية بسبب غلبة أدوات وأساليب البحوث الكمية في إغفال واضح للبحوث النوعية، على الرغم من أهميتها ومناسبتها لدراسة العديد من الظواهر والمشكلات في مجال أصول التربية، فهي تقدم معلومات وبيانات ثرية وعميقه عنها، وتقوم على منهج فلسفي في دراسة الظاهرة أكثر عمقا في البناء المعرفي، بالإضافة إلى استخدامها لعدد من الوسائل لجمع بيانات الظاهرة كالملاحظة المباشرة وغير المباشرة والمقابلة وتحليل المستندات، ومعرفة الظروف والمشاهد الاجتماعية والشخصية والمادية التي تتعلق بالظاهرة المدروسة، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك العديد من المعوقات التي تحول دون إجراء البحوث النوعية في المجال التربوي بصفة عامة ومجال أصول التربية بصفة خاصة ومن هذه المعوقات: 1-ضعف إعداد وتدريب طلاب الدراسات العليا على إجراء البحوث النوعية. ٢-عزوف طلاب دراسة العليا عن البحث النوعي لأنهم يفضلون تكرار نفس المناهج التي تدربوا عليها. 3-نقص اهتمام قسم أصول التربية بإقامة المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية عن البحوث النوعية. ٤-صعوبة إعداد الباحث المتمكن من أدوات البحث النوعي. 5-التنشئة الاجتماعية العلمية لأجيال من الباحثين التربويين في ظل المدرسة البنائية الوظيفية وتصوراتها الفكرية، والتي تعتمد على المنهج الكمي في أبحاثها. وقد قامت الباحثة بوضع مجموعة من المقترحات للتغلب على معوقات البحوث النوعية في مجال أصول التربية.

The current study aimed to identify the nature of qualitative research and its characteristics, as well as the theoretical and philosophical premises for qualitative research, in addition to revealing the obstacles to conducting qualitative research in the field of in foundations of education, and ways to overcome them. The researcher used the critical approach, and the interview card was used as one of the qualitative research methods to reveal the obstacles to conducting qualitative research from the point of view of a group of faculty members in Egyptian universities. The study concluded that we need to conduct qualitative research because of the predominance of quantitative research tools and methods with an obvious omission of qualitative research, despite its importance and appropriateness to studying many phenomena and problems in foundations of education field, as it provides rich and deep information and data on it, and is based on more profound philosophical approach in cognitive structure when studying the phenomenon, in addition to using a number of methods to collect phenomenon data, such as direct and indirect observation, interview and document analysis, and to know the social, personal and material circumstances and scenes related to the studied phenomenon, The study also found that there are many obstacles that prevent the conduct of qualitative research in the educational field in general and the field of foundations of education in particular, and these include: The poor preparation and training of graduate students in conducting qualitative research. The graduate students' reluctance to qualitative research because they prefer to repeat the same curricula that they were trained on. The lack of interest in the Department of Foundations of Education in holding scientific conferences and seminars on qualitative research. The difficulty of preparing a good researcher who is able to use qualitative research tools. The scientific social upbringing of generations of educational researchers in light of the functional constructivism school and its intellectual perceptions, which depend on the quantitative approach in its researches. The researcher has presented a set of proposals to overcome the obstacles of qualitative research in the field of foundations of education.
