Researcher's name: Asmaa Taha Muhammad Al-demerdash Title of the research: Social communication skills and their relationship to repetitive stereotyped behavior of children with autism disorder. Degree: Ph.D. in Special Education, Faculty of Education, Helwan University. Aim of the research: The research aims to investigate the relationship between social communication skills and the repetitive stereotyped behavior of autistic children. Procedures of the research: The research was applied to a sample consisting of twenty -five autistic students. A scale of social communication skills prepared by the researcher was applied to those students. Findings 1. There is a statistical significant relationship between the scores of autistic children in the scale of social communication skills and the scores of behavioral patterns scale. 2. The scores of autistic children in the social interaction skills scale can be predicted by their scores in the behavioral patterns scale. |
