|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على خصائص المعلم الفعال من وجهة نظر مديري ومديرات المدارس الثانوية في مديرية تربية وتعليم قصبة إربد. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحث بتطوير استبانة تضمنت (25) فقرة طبقت على عينة قوامها (26) من مديري ومديرات مجتمع الدراسة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن مستوى خصائص المعلم الفعال جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.70) وانحراف معياري (0,46)، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أيضا عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α=0.05) بين المتوسطات الحسابية لتقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة، تعزى لعامل الجنس والخبرة والمؤهل العلمي. وقد تضمنت الدراسة توصيات منها: تزويد المعلمين والمعلمات بتغذية راجعة حول أهم الخصائص التي يرغب مديرو ومديرات المدارس أن تتوافر في المعلمين، وعقد ورش تدريبية للمعلمين والمعلمات لتعريفهم بأهم الخصائص المرغوبة والتي تسهم في تطوير العملية التربوية.

|b This study aims at discovering the characteristics of the effective teacher from the viewpoint of high school principals in Directorate of Education of Breeding Irbid,. To this end, the researcher has designed a questionnaire containing (25) items, distributed to a sample from the target population of (26) principals (male and female). This research has revealed that the level of effective teacher characteristics appeared moderately, with an arithmetic mean of (2.70) and a standard deviation of (0.46). This study has shown no significant differences at (α=0.05) arithmetical averages of the estimates of study sample's individuals due to gender, experience and level of education. The current study suggests a couple of recommendations, such as providing teachers with enough feedback on the characteristics, which according to principals, are necessary for each teacher. Besides, organizing workshops to train teachers and make them familiar with the required characteristics for a successful educational mission.
