المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف أهم أساليب تنمية الإبداع الإداري لدى مديري المدارس الثانوية بدولة الكويت، ورصد أهم معوقاته من وجهة نظرهم. ولأجل ذلك تم إعداد أداة خاصة بالدراسة؛ اشتملت على (٣٦) عبارة وزعت على محورين؛ تنمية الإبداع الإداري، ومعوقات الإبداع الإداري. وتكونت العينة من (٦٠) مديرا ومديرة من مدارس المرحلة الثانوية في المناطق التعليمية الست بدولة الكويت. وكشفت النتائج عن أن مديري المدارس الثانوية يستخدمون أساليب متنوعة لتنمية الإبداع الإداري بدرجة متوسطة، وأن هناك مجموعة من المعيقات التي تحد من تنمية الإبداع الإداري، أفادت العينة أنها توجد بدرجة كبيرة في الواقع. كما كشفت النتائج عن أنه لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين تقديرات العينة لواقع استخدام أساليب وممارسات تنمية الإبداع، ومعوقات ذلك تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس والمؤهل العلمي وعدد سنوات الخبرة في الوظيفة، وكذلك لمتغير المنطقة التعليمية.

The study aimed to identify the most important methods of developing administrative creativity among secondary school principals in the State of Kuwait, and to monitor the major obstacles to achieving it from their point of view. For this purpose, a study tool has been developed, involving 36 items distributed on two axes: the development of administrative creativity, and the constraints on administrative creativity. The sample of respondents consisted of 60 principals from secondary schools in the six educational zones of the State of Kuwait. Findings revealed that the secondary school principals’ use of various methods to develop administrative creativity is at an average level, and that there are a number of obstacles limiting the development of administrative creativity, which, respondents reported, exist to a large extent in reality. Moreover, findings showed that, based on the variables of gender, academic qualification and number of years of experience in the job, in addition to the variable of the educational zone, there are no statistically significant differences between the respondents’ assessments of the reality of using the methods and practices of developing creativity on the one hand, and of the constraints limiting it on the other hand.
