المستخلص: لقد غدت الحاجة إلى الترجمة في عصرنا الحاضر عصر الشعوب والثقافات في تصاعد مستمر يوما بعد يوم ذلك لأنها إحدى الوسائل التي لا غني عنها، للتعارف والتقارب والتفاهم بين الشعوب وثقافاتها من أجل الحوار الحضاري وبناء الحضارة الإنسانية. والترجمة بشكل عام ليست مجرد نقل أفكار وأعمال من لغة إلى أخرى، بل هي بالدرجة الأولى عملية إبداعية، "فليس المترجم الجيد من يترجم من لغة إلى أخرى بل من يمتلك مدى رحبا للعمل، فهو يترجم تفكيرا لغويا معينا إلى تفكير لغوي نغاير من مجموعو معقدة إلى مجموعة معقدة أخرى ولا يقتصر على نقل المدلول الدقيق وإنما النبرة والإيقاع والوتيرة والنغمة، وبكلمة أخري: اللون العاطفي الفردي المكثف للنتاج الفني فهو يترجم لأسلوب وروح الإنتاج الأدبي عبر الأدوات اللغوية". تتناول الترجمة مواضيع أساسية في الحضارة الإنسانية وفي التواصل الاجتماعي والثقافي، وأن كتابة موضوع أو تأليف كتاب قد يكون أسهل من ترجمة نص أو كتاب لأن الترجمة أمانة. ولما كان الحوار أصل من أصول الحضارات التي تعاقبت ويمثل العملية التكاملية والتبادلية التي تجري بأشكال متعددة في أحقاب تاريخية متطاولة. ففي رؤية الحضارة العربية الإسلامية الحوار أصل متجذر ضارب في أعماق التاريخ منذ أن خلق الله البشر ونفخ فيهم من روحه ووهبهم الحكمة ورزقهم الفطنة وهداهم سواء السبيل، نحو تأسيس حياتهم على أساس من الفطرة السليمة. وبكلمة فالحوار بين الحضارات ليس ضرورة وواجبا فحسب ولكنه أصل من أصول التاريخ الإنساني إذ لا تقوم حضارة إلا بالحوار مع حضارة أخرى، أو مع حضارات عديدة سواء أكانت تجاورها في المكان وتقاربها في الزمان، أم كان يفصل بينهما أحقاب تاريخية. والحضارة العربية الإسلامية أقيمت انطلاقا من النقول والترجمات من الحضارات الأخرى بفضل الحوار والتواصل مع الآخر. وعملنا الموسوم بــــ: "قيمة الترجمة في الحوار الحضاري والتواصل الثقافي"، يقف على بعض المحطات التاريخية لتظهير أوجه الحوار والتواصل الحضاريين مع الآخر.

Nowadays, the need for translation has become an indispensable means for acquaintance, rapprochement and understanding between different people and their cultures for the sake of civilizational dialogue and the building of a human civilization, among all people and cultures. Indeed, broadly speaking, translation is not just the transfer of ideas and concepts from one language to another, but first and foremost is the creative process. In fact, a good translator is not the one who just translates from one language into another, but rather someone who has a wide range of skills. He/she translates a specific thought from a complex speaking group to another complex speaking group, not just by conveying a precise meaning, but rather by decoding the tone, rhythm, and all types of supralinguistic features. In other words: the intense individual emotional manifestations within any artistic production, as he/she translates the style and spirit of literary production using certain linguistic tools. And since dialogue is at the origin of successive civilizations and represents the complementary and reciprocal process that takes place in multiple forms during long historical eras. Moreover, in the vision of the Arab-Islamic civilization, the ‘dialogue’ is a deep-rooted factor that is deeply rooted in history, since God created people and breathed into them His Spirit, gifted them with wisdom, provided them with acumen, and guided them on the straight path towards basing their lives on the basis of common sense. To put it in a nutshell, dialogue between civilizations is not only a necessity or a duty, but one of the basis of the human history, for no civilization could establishes only if a dialogue exists with another civilization whether a neighbouring civilization or a past one. Therefore, the Arab Islamic civilization was established thanks to the transmissions (oral or written) and translations from other civilizations, as well as the dialogue and communication with the other nations. This paper stands on some historical milestones to show some aspects of the civilized dialogue and communication with the others.
