This study aims at identifying the drawbacks of implementing e-learning (Web CT) at The Girls' colleges in King Faisal University. It has adopted the descriptive analytical approach, and has prepared and distributed a questionnaire among the faculty (388) with the aim of finding solutions for these drawbacks. A pilot study was implemented to assure the validity of the questionnaire; and the statistical analysis used included (frequencies, T-test for two independent samples, F-test for more than two independent samples, mean, medium, standard deviation, and correlation analysis). The study showed some positive and other negative responses to the questions. Findings included: The Faculty is well-qualified to use computer technology to support its teaching in general, only 9.6 % of them are using tlse technology of Web CT that is available at the university, the average of the availability of the necessary technical requirements to support e-learning was shown to be modest in the colleges. Furthermore, the importance of adopting the policies and administrative regulations proposed in this study was found to be strongly appropriate and convincing. The variables of the study which have statistically affected most of the findings included: college, sex, age, years of experience, degree and rank. The recommendations were divided according to the different administrative levels, and addressed: the importance of allocating the financial resources needed to support e-learning, re-evaluating the educational programs and course plans to address the requirements of using this technology, the importance of providing the faculty with different incentives to encourage the use of e-learning, the importance of providing technical support and necessary training to use the web CT, the importance of enhancing the faculty's awareness of this technology as a step towards making it obligatory to meet the international standards of quality leaning.
