المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز دور التحفيز في أداء العاملين في المنشآت الفندقية، التركيز على أهمية التحفيز كعنصر فعال في عملية التحسين والتطوير، والتعرف على الأساليب التحفيزية المتبعة في المنشآت الفندقية وتطويرها بما يتوافق مع رغبات العاملين ويما يتناسب مع أهداف المنشأة. وتبرز أهمية البحث من خلال معرفة الأساليب التحفيزية المتبعة في فنادق 4 و5 نجوم في حمص وطرطوس ومدى تأثيرها على أداء العاملين، والتعرف على السياسات التي تتبعها الإدارة لتشجيع العاملين وتحفيزهم على العمل، حيث تم جمع بيانات البحث من خلال استبيان تم إعداده لهذا الغرض مؤلف من مجموعة من الأسئلة المتعلقة بمتغيرات البحث، موجه إلى العاملين في المنشآت الفندقية السورية ( فنادق الأربع والخمس نجوم في مدينتي حمص وطرطوس )، حيث يتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع العاملين في فنادق ال (أربع وخمس) نجوم في محافظتي حمص وطرطوس، والبالغ عددهم (507) وعلى كافة المستويات الوظيفية، واستخدم الباحث مجموعة من الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة لتحليل ومعالجة تلك البيانات، وتم الوصول إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: - يوجد علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية لمتغير التحفيز في أداء العاملين، حيث تبين أن التحفيز المادي من (مكافآت وعلاوات وزيادة الأجور) والتحفيز المعنوي من (ترقية والاستقرار بالعمل) لهما تأثير كبير على إنجاز العمل بسرعة وكفاءة عالية داخل المنشآت الفندقية. - تتبع المنشآت الفندقية سياسات محددة لتطوير أداء العاملين على الرغم من وجود العديد من المشاكل والصعوبات التي تعترض عملية التطوير، وبناء على ذلك يتم تقديم العاملين اقتراحات للنهوض بالأداء، وتأخذ الإدارة باقتراحاتهم بنسبة كبيرة.

The research addresses the role of motivation in the employees’ performance in hotel facilities and aims to focus on the importance of motivation as an effective element in the process of improvement and development, and to identify and develop motivational techniques in hotel facilities in line with the employees’ desires and in proportion to the enterprise’s objectives. In addition to the importance of research, which is highlighted through the knowledge of the motivational methods used in four- and five-star hotels in Homs and Tartus and their impact on the employees’ performance, and the Department's policies for encouraging and motivating employees to work, research data has been collected through a questionnaire prepared for this purpose, consisting of a series of questions on research variables, addressed to workers in Syrian hotels. (four- and five-star hotels in the cities of Homs and Tartus), where the study community is composed of all the workers of fourand five-star hotels in the provinces of Homs and Tartus (507) at all functional levels, the researcher used a range of appropriate statistical methods to analyze and process such data, and a series of findings were reached, the most important of which were: - There is a statistically significant relationship between the stimulus variable and the workers’ performance, where physical stimulation (rewards, bonuses, wage increases) and moral stimulation (promotion and stability at work) have been shown to have a significant impact on completion of work within hotel establishments rapidly and efficiently. - Hotel establishments pursue specific personnel performance development policies, although there are many problems and difficulties in the development process. Accordingly, workers make proposals to improve performance, and management takes up their proposals to a large extent.
