هذا البحث يهدف إلى تحري مشاكل مهارات التحدث لطلاب جامعة دنقلا- كلية التربية وتوصل الباحث أن معظم الطلاب يعانون صعوبات في مهارة التحدث. واقترح الباحث أن استعمال الطرق غير الرسمية المتبعة في تدريس هذه المهارة مثل التحدث بالتلفون أو مناقشة مواضيع مع الزملاء وحضور اللقاءات ومشاركة السمنارات والورش أو بعض الأمور الاجتماعية) افترض الباحث أن هذه الطريقة غير الرسمية تزيد فرص المتعلمين للمشاركة من الطريقة الرسمية. استخدم الباحث الطريقة الوصفية التحليلية في هذه الورقة واللقاءات الشخصية كأداة لجمع المعلومات توصل الباحث أن هذه الطريقة غير الرسمية طريقة ناجحة ومفيدة للمهارات المختلفة وخاصة مهارة التحدث. ويوصي الباحث أن هذه الطريقة إذا أعدت إعدادا جيدا وبطريقة عملية تساعد المتعلمين ليؤدوا أداء جيدا. كما يوصي الباحث بالحاجة للتركيز على النطق الصحيح وانتقاء الألفاظ المناسبة.
This study investigates speaking skill problems in Dongola University students- faculty of Education- The researcher reached some main results.. The Major Findings of the Study are the majority of Dongola university faculty students of education has speaking difficulties. The researcher suggests that the use of informal encounters (such as talking on the telephone, discussing ideas with colleagues, attending, meetings participating, in seminars and workshops, or simply socializing after, work) is a solution to enable the students to take part in the process of speaking skill and to help the students in the level of improving speaking skill in the target of language. It was hypothesized that the informal encounters increases the chance of participation of the learners in speaking compared with the formal one. The researcher used descriptive and analytical methods to collect data through interview to compare the difference between the informal encounter and formal one and The researcher recommends that application of informal encounters as a fulfillment and successful teaching technique in teaching speaking skill almost all the English language skills, receptive and productive, especially the speaking skill. Also recommends that informal encounters technique to be prepared and planned in practice and that enable learners to do it properly. And recommends that there is need for focusing on the correct pronunciation and much concern should be devoted to choose appropriate vocabulary.
