The study aims to open up to the linguistics’ developments, especially the functional approach and its procedures, to establish an applied educational discourse, which is not limited to circulation of grammar rules but goes beyond them to guide learners to understand the language system and control its use, which helps them to acquire the competence language and integrate it in their linguistic behavior. The research method is functional and Pragmatical. It draws its procedures from the functional direction, and its Pragmatical approach to language teaching discourse, especially after pragmatics has become a science of linguistic use. The study seeks to direct the contexts of linguistic education and training towards optimal communication conditions and benefit from them in promoting the educational discourse of those who seek Arabic from non-native speakers. The study concluded that the language teaching discourse must go beyond all grammatical aspects to others related to the purposes and strategies of the discourse, so there must be clear evidence linking the recipients to the linguistic use. Thus, the starting point in teaching a second language must begin with its communicative side and within its communicative components. Also, the study of Compositional phrases and their direct and allusive meaning enriches the learner’s outcome, so the speaker’s intention gives the uttered its value. |
