المستخلص: لطالما اعتبرت لبنان ملتقي للحضارات في الشرق الأوسط ولهذا قمنا بدراسة أحد الأعمال الأدبية للروائية اللبنانية ديزيريه عزيز. وسينصب اهتمامنا على قضية الانفصال الأسري. في السياق اللبناني. يقوم هذا البحث على محورين هامين وهما: الرابطة بين الأم والطفل، والمعاناة المترتبة على الانفصال الأسري حيث يتناول هذا البحث دراسة رواية مكونة من جزئين للكاتبة اللبانية ديزيريه عزيز. الجزء الأول بعنوان "عطر السعادة": وتدور أحداثها في بيروت ما قبل الحرب حيث غادرت امرأة تدعى مريم أرض الأرز (لبنان) لترفض الخضوع لزوجها أو لقانون الرجل، تاركة وراءها ابنتها ميرت البالغة من العمر ست سنوات. يتناول هذا الجزء الأول من الرواية معاناة الأم التي تخلت عن ابنتها وحالة الابنة ميرت قبل رحيل والدتها. الجزء الثاني "صمت الأرز": يروي لم الشمل بين الأم وابنتها بعد ثلاثين عاماً من الانفصال سنركز على مصير الأم وابنتها، بطلتين الرواية حيث شهدت كل من (الأم وابنتها) دراما مثيرة سوف نقوم بتحليل الاضطرابات التي شهدتها كل من الأم وابنتها طوال ثلاثين عاماً من الانفصال.

Le Liban est généralement considéré un carrefour du Proche-Orient. A cet effet nous nous sommes tournés vers l’étude des oeuvres littéraires de la romancière Libanaise Désirée Aziz. Notre attention se portera sur le thème de la séparation de la famille dans le contexte libanais. Deux centres d’intérêt autour de cette problématique: Le lien mère-enfant, comment se concrétise la souffrance liée à la séparation? Quelle est la place de la famille monoparentale? Pour répondre à ces questions nous baserons mon étude sur un roman qui retient particulièrement mon attention; un roman, mais divisé en deux parties: La première partie "Le Parfum du Bonheur": Dans le Beyrouth d’avant la guerre une femme du nom de Marie a quitté le pays des Cèdres (Liban) pour refuser de se soumettre à la loi d’un homme, en laissant derrière elle au pays sa fille Myrte âgée de six ans. Cette partie du Roman raconte l’abandon de sa fille et la situation de Myrte devant le départ de sa mère. La deuxième partie: "Le silence des Cèdres" relate les retrouvailles après trente ans de séparation, de Marie, la mère, avec sa fille Myrte, toutes les deux installées en France. Nous nous focaliserons sur les destins de la mère et la fille, les deux héroïnes des deux Romans. Toutes les deux (mère et fille) ont vécu un drame – déroutant. Nous analyserons les bouleversements qu’ont vécus l’une et l’autre pendant ces trente ans de séparation.

Lebanon has always been considered a meeting place for civilizations in the Middle East. This is why we studied one of the literary works of Lebanese novelist Desiree Aziz. Our attention will be on the issue of family separation. This research is based on two important axes in the Lebanese context: the bond between mother and child and the suffering resulting from family separation. This research examines a two-part novel by the Albanian writer Desiree Aziz. The first part is entitled "The Fragrance of Happiness": It takes place in pre-war Beirut, where a woman named Maryam left the Land of Cedar (Lebanon) to refuse to submit to her husband or the man's law, leaving behind her six-year-old daughter Mert. This first part of the novel deals with the suffering of a mother who abandoned her daughter and the condition of daughter "Mert" before her mother departed. Part Two, "The silence of cedar," tells the reunion between mother and daughter after 30 years of separation. We will focus on the fate of mother and daughter, the two protagonists. Both (mother and daughter) have gone through dramatic experiences. We will analyze the disturbances that both mother and daughter have experienced throughout the 30 years of separation.
