المستخلص: This contribution addresses the problems and difficulties that learners face when learning phonetics. The study shows that oral gaps are due to linguistic and semantics factors. The teachers training, the psychological and the cultural aspects of language also contribute to the acquisition of phonetic skills of the learner and participate in the evolution of the said discipline.

La présente contribution traite la question des problèmes et difficultés que rencontrent les apprenants lors de l’apprentissage en matière de phonétique. L’étude montre que les lacunes enregistrées sur le plan de l’oral sont dues aux facteurs linguistiques et auxquels s’ajoute la sémantique. La formation des enseignants, l’aspect psychologique de la langue et l’aspect culturel contribuent aussi à l’acquisition des compétences phonétiques chez l’apprenant et participent à l’évolution de la dite discipline.
