المستخلص: شكل مظاهر التطرف الفكري منظومة من التحديات التاريخية التي تواجه المجتمعات الإنسانية والعقل الإنساني في العصر الحديث، وتشهد الحياة السياسية والاجتماعية العالمية اليوم انفجارات موجات رهيبة من التعصب بمختلف تجلياته السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية والدينية، ولا يكاد المشهد الاجتماعي والثقافي العربي يخلو من صور محزنة لواقع التعصب والعنف الذي يتأجج لهيبة في عمق الحياة العربية سياسيا ودينيا واجتماعيا، ويتفق أغلب المفكرين على أن العنف والتطرف بأشكالهما المختلفة يشكلان أخطر الأمراض الاجتماعية والثقافية التي يعانيها المجتمع العربي المعاصر، حيث أن درء التعصب يهدد الوجود الحضاري والإنساني للمجتمع العربي، ويتنافى كليا مع أولويات الانتماء القومي والهوية الوطنية بمختلف مستوياتها وتجلياتها، وتشكل مشاعر التعصب والتمييز والنزعة إلى التطرف والعنف اليوم الغام الحياة السياسية والثقافية والاجتماعية التي يمكن أن تنفجر في أي زمان ومكان في جغرافية الوجود العربي المعاصر، وإذا كان الإنسان -بصفة عامة- هو موضع اهتمام التربية وغايتها، فإن الشباب الجامعي -بصفة خاصة- هم أولى الفئات العمرية بالقدر الكافي من الاهتمام والرعاية لخطورة هذه المرحلة وأهميتها بالنسبة للمجتمع حيث أنهم من أكثر أفراد المجتمع حماسا وحساسية ونشاطا، وهم يمثلون قطاعا محوريا في المجتمع، وليسوا فئة منعزلة معرفيا أو قيميا أو اجتماعيا عن المجتمع الذي يعيشون فيه، ومن ثم يستحيل تصور عزل مشكلات الشباب عن مشكلات محيطه الاجتماعي، فهو بالأحرى أكثر تأثرا بتلك المشكلات وأكثر معاناة من مختلف التناقضات الاجتماعية والقيمية باعتباره الأكثر انفعالا وتأثرا بالحاضر والأكثر اهتماما بآمال المستقبل ووعوده. ومع قدوم الألفية الثالثة بمعطياتها من المعلوماتية، والتقنية الفائقة، والاتصالات المتطورة، والإنترنيت، أمسى العالم قرية صغيرة يموج بسيل من التغيرات المتسارعة والمتصارعة على كافة المستويات السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية والعلمية والتعليمية، وفي ظل هذه التغيرات المطردة، أصبح الإنسان يتعرض لخطر سلب حريته وقمع مبادراته وطمس طموحاته، ونظرا للتغيرات الحادة والعميقة التي يمر بها المجتمع العربي، والمجتمع المصري بصفة خاصة والتي أفرزتها التغيرات العالمية من ناحية والصراعات العربية من ناحية أخرى، أصبح يموج بظاهرة لها مخاطرها على بنية المجتمعات العربية وتوجهاتها.

The manifestations of intellectual extremism constitute a system of historical challenges facing human societies and the human mind in the modern era. Today, global political and social life is witnessing outbursts of terrible waves of intolerance in its various political, social, cultural and religious manifestations. The Arab social and cultural scene is hardly devoid of sad images of the reality of intolerance and violence. Prestige flares up in the depth of Arab life politically, religiously and socially, and most thinkers agree that violence and extremism in their various forms constitute the most serious social and cultural diseases that the contemporary Arab society suffers from, as warding off intolerance threatens the civilization and human existence of the Arab community, and completely contradicts the priorities of national belonging and national identity in various Its levels and manifestations, and feelings of intolerance, discrimination, tendency to extremism and violence today constitute the blemishes of political, cultural and social life that can explode at any time and place in the geography of contemporary Arab existence, and if man - in general - is the object of interest and purpose of education, university youth - in particular They are the first age groups to give enough attention and care Taking care of the seriousness of this stage and its importance for society, as they are among the most enthusiastic, sensitive and active members of society, and they represent a pivotal sector in society, and they are not a group isolated cognitively, morally or socially from the society in which they live, and therefore it is impossible to imagine isolating the problems of young people from the problems of its social environment, Rather, he is more affected by these problems and more suffering from various social and value contradictions, as he is the most emotionally affected by the present and the most concerned with the hopes and promises of the future. With the advent of the third millennium, with its data of informatics, high technology, advanced communications, and the Internet, the world has become a small village, riven by a torrent of rapid and conflicting changes at all political, economic, cultural, scientific and educational levels. In light of these steady changes, man is exposed to the danger of depriving his freedom, suppressing his initiatives and obliterating His ambitions, and in view of the sharp and profound changes that the Arab society is going through, and the Egyptian society in particular, which were caused by global changes on the one hand and Arab conflicts on the other hand, has become swept up in a phenomenon that has risks to the structure and orientations of Arab societies.
