هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة العوامل المؤثرة على الغياب بمدينة الملك عبدالله الطبية، كما اعتمدت على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي ومستخدمة الاستبيان لعينة من الكادر التمريضي بالمدينة الطبية ويبلغ عددها (٢٨٠) مفردة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية:- - أن أفراد العينة موافقين على أن عبء العمل يعد من العوامل المؤثرة على غياب الكادر التمريضي خاصة من حيث أن عدد العاملين في المناوبات غير كاف مما يزيد من عبء العمل وتحمل مسئولية لأعمال منفصلة عن بعضها البعض. - أن أفراد العينة موافقين بدرجة متوسطة على عبارات محور البيئة المادية للعمل، وذلك من حيث مساحات الغرف لا تتناسب مع عدد الموظفين وكثيراً ما يتوقفون عن العمل بسبب نقص الاحتياجات المطلوبة. - أن أفراد العينة موافقين بدرجة كبيرة على عبارات محور طبيعة العمل وذلك من حيث شعورهم بالمسئولية تجاه المرضى. كما أن أفراد العينة مرافقين بدرجه كبيرة على عبارات محور السلوك الإداري وذلك من حيث أن الرئيس في العمل واضح الهدف وأيضا النمط القيادي المستخدم لدى المدير يساعد على مناقشة المشكلات التي تعترض أداء العمل. وأوصت الدراسة: بمراعاة الظروف الشخصية والصحية والأسرية والاجتماعية عند تحديد الأفراد الذين يعملون في الورديات المسائية، والاهتمام ببيئة العمل المادية التي تحيط بالكادر التمريضي، كذلك زيادة وعي الكادر التمريضي بأساليب وطرق التعامل والتواصل مع المرض وكذلك وعيهم على كيفية تحمل المسئولية عند ممارستهم لمهنتهم، وأيضاً أن يكون النمط القيادي المستخدم لدى المدير يتصف في إشراكهم في القرارات التي تخص العمل. للحد من ظاهرة الغياب وحمايتهم من التعرض لمخاطر المهنة.
The aim of the study is to know the factors affecting absenteeism among nursing staff at King Abdullah Medical City. To achieve this goal, the following independent variables were adopted (workload, physical environment of work, quality and nature of work, administrative behavior. The study adopted the descriptive analytical method and used the questionnaire tool that was distributed on a sample from the nursing staff in a city of (280) individuals. After the statistical analysis, the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: that the sample members agree that the workload is one of the factors affecting the absence of the nursing staff, especially in that the number of workers in shifts is insufficient, which increases the workload, and that they assume responsibility for separate work from each other with a mean of (3.11). The results of the study also showed that the sample members agree with an average degree, where the arithmetic average is (2.81) on the statements of the physical environment axis for work, in that the areas of the rooms do not correspond to the number of employees and they often stop work due to a lack of required needs. It was found that the sample members agree to a large degree with the statements of the nature of work, where the mean is (3.55) in terms of their feeling of responsibility towards patients as well as their feeling of concern about the life or death of the patient. The results showed that the sample members agree to a large degree with the statements of the axis of administrative behavior, whose arithmetic mean was (3.49) in terms of that the boss at work has a clear goal and also the leadership style used by the manager helps to discuss the problems that hinder the performance of work. It was also evident from the results that the sample members agree to a large degree with the statements of the factor relationship axis of absence, where the arithmetic mean of the axis was (3.6), in terms of the large number of daily work that leads to irregularity in attendance and leaving on specified dates.. Among the results, the study has suggested a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: taking into account personal, health, family and social conditions when identifying individuals who work in the evening shifts. Paying attention to the physical work environment that surrounds the nursing staff in their workplace. Increase the awareness of nursing staff about the methods of dealing and communicating with patients, as well as their awareness of how to take responsibility when exercising their profession. Managers and supervisors needs to be characterized in their supervision by administrative behavior, and to have clear mission. The leadership style used by managers should be characterized by their involvement in decisions related to work. The factors that lead to their absence from this work must be addressed and a review of the previous factors that motivate them to be absent, as well as protecting them from exposure to occupational hazards.
