المستخلص: En Algérie, l’alphabétisation en arabe remonte à plusieurs décennies. Même si elle est de plus en plus structurée, elle ne fait l’objet que de peu de recherches universitaires. Ceci ne contribue certainement pas à son développement. Le présent article se veut une contribution dont l’objectif est de faire connaître les aspects positifs et négatifs du manuel d’alphabétisation en arabe du premier niveau. Plus précisément, l’article jette un regard critique sur la mise en oeuvre de la pédagogie du projet qui est adoptée par le manuel et ses liens avec les contenus d’enseignement qu’il privilégie.

In Algeria, literacy in Arabic goes back several decades. Although it is more and more structured, it is the subject of little academic research . This certainly does not contribute to its development . The purpose of this article is to contribute to the promotion of the positive and negative aspects of the first level Arabic literacy manual . More specifically , the article takes a critical look at the implementation of the project's pedagogy, which is adopted by the textbook and its links with the teaching content it favors.
