نظراً لأهمية حقوق الأفراد ذوي الإعاقات، فقد حرص المجتمع الدولي على حماية هذه الحقوق والتأكيد على تقديمها للمعاقين من أجل رعايتهم. وتزداد الحاجة إلى تطوير هذه الحقوق وتدعيم خدمات المساندة والدعم للمعاقين في ظل زيادة التغيرات السريعة وما تشكله من ضغوط عليهم. ورعاية الفتيات المعاقات أصبحت فرض وقيمة واجبة والتي أشارت الدراسات إلى تعرضهن لأشكال من الحرمان والنبذ والعزلة والتهميش وتعانين من صعوبة في حصولهن على حقوقهن ومن هنا فإن الفتيات ذوات الإعاقة ينبغي أن يوجه لهن كل الاهتمام والرعاية لاسيما وأن كافة المنظمات في العالم تؤكد على ضرورة حصولهن على حقوقهن لإن حرمانهن من تلك الحقوق سيؤثر سلباً على شخصيتهن من ناحية، وعلى توجههن نحو المستقبل من ناحية أخرى فيما يتعلق بالتعليم والعمل والزواج.. الخ. وتسعى الدراسة الراهنة لتحديد الصورة الذهنية لدى الفتيات ذوات الإعاقة حول حقوقهن المختلفة كأحد المؤشرات التي يمكن الاعتماد عليها في تخطيط الخدمات الاجتماعية لتلك الفئة. وتعد هذه الدراسة وصفية، ومنهجها المستخدم هو المسح الاجتماعي عن طريق العينة، وقد اعتمد الباحث على أداة المقابلة مع عينة من ذوات الإعاقة. وقد توصلت الدراسة لتحديد أهم تصورات الفتيات حول حقوقهن المختلفة.

Hence, girls with disabilities should be directed to all attention and care, especially since all organizations in the world stress the need to receive their rights Because depriving them of their various rights will negatively affect their personality on one hand, and their future - oriented on the other hand, with regard to education, work, marriage, etc. The current study seeks to determine the mental image of girls with disabilities about their different rights as one of the indicators that can be relied upon in planning social services for that category. This study is descriptive, and its method used is a social survey about the sample method, the researcher relied on the interview tool with a sample of women with disabilities. The study has reached to identify the most important perceptions of girls about their different rights.
