المستخلص: هدف البحث إلى تعرف مستوى مهارات التواصل مع الوالدين وفق تقدير أفراد عينة البحث من طلبة كلية الآداب في جامعة دمشق. ومستوى الطموح لديهم. ودراسة العلاقة الارتباطية بين مهارات التواصل مع الوالدين ومستوى الطموح لدى أفراد عينة البحث من طلبة كلية الآداب بجامعة دمشق، ودلالة الفروق الإحصائية لدى أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس مهارات التواصل، ومقياس مستوى الطموح وفق متغيري البحث: (الجنس، والسنة الدراسية). اعتمد الباحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكونت عينة البحث من (886) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة كلية الآداب بجامعة دمشق، وطبق الباحث مقياس مهارات التواصل، ومقياس الطموح، وخلص البحث إلى النتائج الآتية: 1. وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مهارات التواصل مع الوالدين ومستوى الطموح لدى أفراد عينة البحث. 2. عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة، إحصائية بين متوسط درجات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس مهارات التواصل مع الوالدين، وعلى مقياس الطموح وفق متغير الجنس. 3. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط درجات إجابات أفراد عينة البحث على مقياس مهارات التواصل مع الوالدين، ومقياس الطموح؛ وفق متغير السنة الدراسية لصالح الطلبة في السنة الدراسية الرابعة.

The goal of the research is to identify the level of communication skills with parents according to the assessment of the members of the research sample from the students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Damascus. And the level of ambition they have. and the study of the correlation between the skills of communication with parents and the level of ambition among the members of the research sample from the students of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Damascus, and the significance of the statistical differences among the members of the research sample on the level of communication skills and the level of ambition according to the two research variables. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method. The sample consisted of (886) male and female students of the Faculty of Arts at Damascus University. The researcher applied the communication skills scale and the ambition scale. The research concluded the following results: 1. There was a positive correlational relationship with statistical significance between the skills of communication with parents and the level of ambition among the members of the research sample. 2. There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the members of the research sample on the scale of the skills of communication with parents and the scale of ambition according to the gender variable. 3. There were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the responses of the members of the research sample on the level of the skills of communication with parents and the scale of ambition according to the variable of the academic year in favor of the students in the fourth year.
