المستخلص: يعتبر التميز في الجامعات هو المدخل والمكون الأساسي للتميز المؤسسي من خلال تبني منظومة من القيم المؤسساتية مدعومة برؤية ورسالة شاملة تتحقق باستراتيجيات عمل لمواجهة التغيرات البيئية الداخلية والخارجية، ويعد نموذج المؤسسة الأوروبية (EFQM) من أهم النماذج التميز المؤسسي التي يمكن تطبيقها على مؤسسات التعليم العالي، والذي أثبت نجاحه وانتشاره في مؤسسات عالمية كأحد الأطر الرئيسية لتقييم جودة أداء المنظمة، وتقييم الوضع المعني للعاملين. وقد هدف البحث إلى السعي للوقوف على واقع التميز المؤسسي في الجامعات المصرية في ضوء معايير النموذج الأوروبي (EFQM) ومستحدثات العصر الرقمي من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية بالجامعات المصرية. واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي نظراً لما ينطوي عليه هذا المنهج من رصد للواقع، وما يتبع ذلك من تحليل وتفسير لهذا الواقع استناداً إلى الدراسات والأبحاث. وتوصل البحث إلى وجود مجموعة من المعوقات التي تواجه الجامعات المصرية وتحد من إمكانية تطبيق معايير النموذج الأوروبي للتميز المؤسسي (EFQM) في ضوء مستحدثات العصر الرقمي من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية والإدارية بالكليات. وفي نهاية البحث تم وضع مجموعة من المتطلبات المقترحة لتطبيق معايير النموذج الأوروبي للتميز المؤسسي (EFQM) في الجامعات المصرية على ضوء مستحدثات العصر الرقمي.

Excellence in Universities is the main entrance and component of Institutional excellence through the adoption of a system of institutional values supported by a comprehensive vision and mission that is achieved by work strategies to confront internal and external environmental changes. The European Foundation Model (EFQM) is one of the most important models of institutional excellence that can be applied to higher education institutions Which has proven its success and spread in international institutions as one of the main frameworks for evaluating the quality of the organization's performance, and evaluating the professional status of employees. The research aimed to seek to find out the reality of institutional excellence in Egyptian universities in light of the criteria of die European Model (EFQM) and the innovations of the digital age from the point of view of academic and administrative leaders in Egyptian universities. The research relied on the descriptive approach in view of what this approach involves of monitoring reality, and the subsequent analysis and interpretation of this reality based on studies and research. The research found that there are a set of obstacles facing Egyptian Universities and limiting the possibility of applying the criteria of the European Model for Institutional Excellence (EFQM) in the light of the developments of the digital age from the point of view of academic and administrative leaders in colleges. At the end of the research, a set of proposed requirements for implementing the criteria of the European Model for Institutional Excellence (EFQM) in Egyptian universities was developed in the light of the developments of the digital age.
