|b The linguistic situation in Algeria is very complex and ambiguous, but it is also rich in numerous phenomena, which characterize plurilingualism and linguistic diversity. The language practices of Algerian speakers are essentially defined by the use of borrowings, code alternation, tracing, neologism and also other linguistic forms which involve the phenomena of code mixing, hybridization and/or hybridity, truncation and many others. Algerian students, being intellectual elite, cannot easily escape these different phenomena, which, sometimes, do not respect the criteria and/or the standards of a foreign language since they come from the same society.
|d La situation linguistique en Algérie est très complexe mais elle est aussi riche de nombreux phénomènes qui caractérisent le plurilinguisme et la diversité linguistique. Les pratiques langagières des locuteurs algériens sont définies essentiellement par l’usage des emprunts, de l’alternance codique, du calque, du néologisme et aussi d’autres formes linguistiques qui impliquent les phénomènes de code mixing, hybridation et/ou hybridité, troncation et bien d’autres. Les étudiants algériens comme étant une élite intellectuelle, ne peuvent pas s’échapper facilement à ces différents phénomènes qui, parfois, ne respectent pas les critères et/ou les normes d’une langue étrangère.
