المستخلص: هذه الدراسة تناقش جزءا من المعوقات والمشاكل التي تواجهها المؤسسات الأكاديمية في بلداننا العربية حول المنهجية الخاصة بالترجمة والإجراءات التقليدية المتبعة في تدريسها بشقيها الشفوي والتحريري. كما تطرقت الدراسة إلى مشكلة عدم التنسيق بين القطاعين العام المتمثل بالمؤسسة الأكاديمية وبين الخاص المتمثل بمعاهد تدريس اللغات أو الترجمة. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن إجراء الترجمة عموما في بلادنا العربية تفتقر للتنسيق بين القطاعين العام والخاص لتطوير الترجمة والاستفادة، من النظريات الموضوعة لتدريسها في المؤسسات الأكاديمية وعدم وجود منهجية واضحة لتدريس الترجمة. كما أكد البحث على معالجة تلك المعوقات من خلال عقد ندوات ومؤتمرات مكثفه وحلقات دراسية لفهم سير الترجمة بالشكل الذي يواكب التطور في شتى بلدان العالم المتطورة وكذلك زيادة الساعات الدراسية في الجامعات.

This study examines some of the obstacles and problems faced by academic institutions in our Arab countries with regard to the methodology of translation, both oral and written, and the traditional procedures followed in teaching them, as well as the lack of understanding of translation as an academic subject. The study also addresses the problem of the lack of coordination between the public sectors represented by the university institution and the private institutes of language teaching or translation. It concluded that translation, generally in our Arab countries, lacked coordination between the public and private sectors to develop translation and there is no clear translation methodology to teach. The research has focused on solving these obstacles by organizing intensive seminars, lectures, so as to keep pace with development in various developed countries and increase the number of study hours in universities for this important subject.

Cette étude examine certains obstacles et problèmes rencontrés par les institutions académiques de nos pays arabes en ce qui concerne la méthodologie de la traduction, à la fois orale et écrite, et les procédures traditionnelles suivies pour les enseigner, ainsi que le manque de compréhension de la traduction en tant que matière académique. L’étude aborde également le problème d’absence de coordination entre les secteurs publics représentés par l’institution universitaire et les instituts privés d’enseignement des langues ou de traduction. L’étude concluait que la traduction, en général dans nos pays arabes, manquait de coordination entre les secteurs public et privé pour développer la traduction et il n’y a pas de méthodologie claire de traduction enseigné. La recherche a mis l’accent sur la résolution de ces obstacles en organisant des séminaires intensifs, des conférences, de manière à suivre le rythme du développement dans divers pays développés et à augmenter le nombre d'heures d'étude dans les universités pour cette matière importante.
