المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى وضع مقترح لتطوير تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أم القرى في ضوء معايير المركز الوطني للتقويم والاعتماد الأكاديمي التابع لهيئة تقويم التعليم والتدريب بالمملكة العربية السعودية، واعتمدت على المنهج الوصفي المسحي والوثائقي، وطبقت على (1218) عضو هيئة تدريس بجامعة أم القرى. وتوصلت إلى عدم وجود خطة واضحة ومحددة للتدريب على مستوى الجامعة، وإن وجدت خطة لبعض الجهات داخل الجامعة فهي غير مرتبطة بالخطة الاستراتيجية للجامعة، كما توجد جهود كبيرة تقدم من عدة جهات بالجامعة، لكنها جميعا تفتقد تماما إلى التنسيق فيما بينها، وأن أغلب البرامج التدريبية المقدمة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لا ترتبط بتحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية الحقيقية لهم، ولا تتاح الفرص العادلة لحضور التدريب لجميع فئات أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة؛ نظرا لصعوبة حضور الدورات التدريبية لبعد المسافة، وغالبا لا يتاح التدريب لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة داخل مقار كلياتهم بشكل كاف، ولا توجد إجراءات حقيقية لقياس أثر التدريب لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة، ولا توجد مؤشرات أداء معتمدة من الجامعة تتعلق بجودة نظام تدريب أعضاء هيئة التدريس، وانتهت بسرد لأهم المقترحات لتطوير نظام التدريب لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بجامعة أم القرى في ضوء معايير الاعتماد.

The study aimed to develop a proposed vision for the development of a system for training faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University in light of the standards of the National Center for Academic Assessment and Accreditation of the Education and Training Evaluation Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it was based on the descriptive and documentary curriculum, and it was applied in the academic year 1439-1440 AH corresponding to 2018-2019 was applied to (1218) faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University. The study found that there is no clear and specific plan for training at the university level, and if there is a plan for some parties within the university, it is not linked to the strategic plan of the university, and there are great efforts made by several sides of the university, but they all completely lack coordination between them, and that most of the training programs Provided to faculty members is not related to identifying their real training needs, and fair opportunities to attend training are not provided for all categories of university faculty members; Due to the difficulty of attending training courses for the distance, and often training for university faculty members is not sufficiently available on the premises of their faculties, and there are no real procedures to measure the impact of training for faculty members at the university, and there are no performance indicators approved by the university related to the quality of the training system for faculty members. A list of the most important proposals to develop the training system for faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University in light of the accreditation criteria.
