المستخلص: The faculty member of the university is one of its most important resources to prepare and qualify its students and achieve its goals, objectives, and future directions. He is the leader of the educational process, the instructor of learning processes, the motivator of the skills of his students, and the influence on their inclinations and personality. This influencing ability depends significantly on the exercise of moral leadership with them in and out of classrooms. Therefore, the study aimed to identify: the degree of the practice of the faculty member at Umm Al-Qura University of moral leadership in its five dimensions from the point of view of university students, the degree of influence of this practice in them, and the knowledge of statistically significant differences between students' estimates of the degree of practice and influence, which are attributed to the variable of gender. It also aimed to monitor whether there is a correlation between the practice of moral leadership and influence and the quality of this relationship. The descriptive method was used, and a questionnaire was applied to a sample of (900 male and female students). One of the most notable results was that the practice of the faculty member of moral leadership was moderate in general and in all its dimensions. The effect of the practice was average on students, and there was a statistical indication of some variables in the dimension of practice and influence. The study also demonstrated a positive correlation between the practice of moral leadership and influence and the predictability of such impact through the equation set out in the study. Its recommendations include the necessity of periodic evaluation of moral leadership practices among professors as they are influential and conclusively in the university's strategic directions.

يعد عضو هيئة التدريس بالجامعة أحد أهم مواردها لإعداد وتأهيل طلبتها، وتحقيق غاياتها وأهدافها وتوجهاتها المستقبلية، فهو قائد العملية التعليمية، والموجه لعمليات التعلم، والمحفز لمهارات طلبته، والمؤثر في ميولهم وشخصياتهم، وهذه القدرة التأثيرية له تعتمد بدرجة كبيرة على ممارسته للقيادة الأخلاقية معهم في القاعات الدراسية وخارجها، لذا هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على: درجة ممارسة عضو هيئة التدريس بجامعة أم القرى للقيادة الأخلاقية بأبعادها الخمسة من وجهة نظر طلبة الجامعة، ودرجة تأثير هذه الممارسة فيهم، ومعرفة الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية بين تقديرات الطلبة لدرجة الممارسة والتأثير، والتي تعزى لمتغير؛ الجنس، التخصص. المستوى الدراسي، كما هدفت لرصد ما إذا كان هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين ممارسة القيادة الأخلاقية والتأثير ونوعية هذه العلاقة، وقد استخدم المنهج الوصفي، وطبق استبيان تم تصميمه على عينة من طلبة الجامعة بلغ عددهم (900 طالب وطالبة) وكان من أبرز نتائجها: أن جاءت ممارسة عضو هيئة التدريس للقيادة الأخلاقية بدرجة متوسطة في عمومها وفي كافة أبعادها، وجاء تأثير الممارسة متوسطا على الطلبة، وثبت وجود دلالة إحصائية لبعض المتغيرات في بعد الممارسة والتأثير. كما أثبتت الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباطية إيجابية بين ممارسة القيادة الأخلاقية والتأثير وإمكانية التنبؤ بهذا التأثير من خلال المعادلة المحددة بالدراسة. وجاء من توصياتها: ضرورة التقويم الدوري لممارسات القيادة الأخلاقية لدى الأساتذة كونها مؤثرة وبشكل قاطع في توجهات الجامعة الاستراتيجية.
