|a هدفت هذه الدراسة لتقصي أثر تدريس الأدب الإنجليزي في تعزيز القدرة اللغوية لدى طلاب اللغة الإنجليزية لغة أجنبية بالمدارس الثانوية السودانية. استخدمت الباحثة المنهج التجريبي وجمعت البيانات بواسطة الاختبار. الذي أجرى لمجموعتين تكونت كل مجموعة من (30) طالبا وطالبة. استخدمت الباحثة برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية لتحليل البيانات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تدريس الأدب الإنجليزي يلعب دور رئيسي في تعزيز القدرة اللغوية لطلاب اللغة الإنجليزية لغة أجنبية بالمدارس الثانوية السودانية ويعزز فهم ثقافة اللغة الهدف ويطور الكفاءة التواصلية. بناء على تلك النتائج فإن الباحثة توصي بأنه يجب على المعلمين تدريس الروايات التي تناسب مستويات واحتياجات واهتمامات الطلاب لمساعدتهم على اكتساب الكفاءة اللغوية الأم وزيادة الوعي اللغوي وتطوير مهارات اللغة.
|b This paper aimed to investigate the impact of teaching literature to enhance EFL Sudanese secondary students' linguistic competence .The study has adopted the experimental methods. The data of the study were obtained by a test for the students. The test was given to two groups of Sudanese secondary school students, each group consisted of (30) students. To analyze the data the researcher has used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), the findings of the study revealed that teaching literature plays a major role in enhancing EFL Sudanese secondary students' linguistic competence, promotes their understanding of the culture of the target language and develops their linguistic competence. In light of the findings of the study, the researcher recommends that teachers should use literature that suit the levels, needs and interests of the students in order to help them acquire a native-like competence and increase their language awareness and develop their language skills.
