المستخلص: تناول البحث موضوع العتبات في قصص الأطفال في نماذج من الأدب السعودي، وفق نقد النقد، للوقوف على أهم الملاحظات والإشارات النقدية في دراسة القاصة السعودية رباب النمر للعتبات في قصص الأطفال، وتحليلها وربطها ببعضها وبمضامين النص، إلى جانب مستويات الوفاء بكل ما يكشف عن أهمية النص الموازي (Paratext)، ويبرز وظيفته التعبيرية والجمالية، وماهيته وأهميته المركزية وفق ما تناوله النقاد الأفذاذ، بدءا من (جيرار جنيت) و(جاك دريدا) وغيرهما من النقاد الغربيين والعرب. وانتظم البحث في مقدمة وتمهيد تناولت الفكرة الأولى منه التعريف الموجز بالعتبات، والثانية كانت لمحة موجزة عن قصص الأطفال، والثالثة عرض للكتاب ومؤلفته وفصوله، ثم تلا التمهيد ثلاثة مباحث: الأول: نقد نقد العتبات العامة وتجلياتها، والثاني: نقد نقد العتبات الفرعية وأنماطها، والثالث: نقد نقد وظائف العتبات في قصص الأطفال، ثم الخاتمة وملخص البحث باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، ففهرس الموضوعات. وكان من أبرز نتائج البحث وأهمها الكشف عن أهمية العتبات بأنماطها المختلفة وبخاصة ما يكون منها خارجيا ظاهريا للأطفال وذويهم، وكذلك أهمية الرسم الدقيق لملامح التوظيف الدلالي الفني للعتبات في قصص الأطفال في الأدب السعودي. كما أن المعنى الدقيق للنص الموازي قد يفرض انفصال العتبات عن النص والمتن؛ لذا فالعتبات أو النص المصاحب قد يكونان ألطف عبارة وأدل مصطلحا على المراد، كما كشف البحث عن شيء من نهم الأطفال بالقصص، الذي ساعد عليه سهولة الحصول على القصص، وكونها متاحة بالطرق التقليدية، والوسائل التقنية. إضافة إلى وجود التنوع في العتبات في قصص الأطفال، فمنها العتبات العامة، والعتبات الفرعية، وأن كل عناوين قصص الأطفال من فئة العناوين الموضوعاتية. وقد ظهر أن أكثر كتاب قصص الأطفال لا يعير عتباته اهتماما كافيا، وقد يكل هذه المهمة إلى الناشر، أو إلى غيره.

The research dealt with the subject of paratext in children's stories in examples of Saudi literature, According to critique of criticism, to find out the most important observations and critical references in the study of the Saudi storyteller Rabab Al-Nimr of paratext in children’s stories, analyzing them, linking them to each other, connecting them with the contents of the text, and accomplishing all the levels of everything that reveals the importance of (paratext), which highlights its expressive and aesthetic function, its essence and central importance, according to what distinguished critics, starting with (Gerard Jeanette) and (Jacques Derrida) and other Western and Arab critics. The research was organized into an introduction and a preface, which its first idea dealt with a brief definition of the paratext, the second was a brief overview of children’s stories, the third was a presentation of the book, its author and its chapters. Then three sections are followed: the first: a critique of criticism of the general paratext and their manifestations, the second: a critique of criticism of subparatext and their patterns, and the third Criticism of the functions of paratext in children's stories, then the conclusion and summary of the research in Arabic and English, index of topics. One of the most prominent results of the research, the most important of which was revealing the importance of paratext with their various patterns, especially those that are outwardly apparent for children and their families, as well as the importance of accurate drawing of the features of the artistic semantic employment of paratext in children's stories in Saudi literature. Also, the exact meaning of the parallel text may impose the separation of paratext from the text; Therefore, the paratext or the accompanying text may be better phrase and the best term for what is intended. The search also revealed something of the children’s appetite for stories, which was helped by the ease of obtaining stories, and their availability by traditional methods and technical means. In addition to the diversity of paratext in children's stories, including general paratext, sub-paratext, and all the titles of children's stories are from the category of thematic titles. It has appeared that most writers of children's stories do not pay enough attention to its paratext, and may entrust this task to the publisher, or to others.
