المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الرضا الوظيفي في القطاعين العام والخاص، والمقارنة بين مستويات الرضا الوظيفي بين العاملين في القطاعين. تكونت عينة الدراسة الكلية من (191)، مقسمة إلى مجموعتين هما: عينة القطاع العام، عينة القطاع الخاص. وقد تكونت عينة القطاع الخاص من عينة كلية عددها (93) موزعة إلى (47 ذكر، 48 أنثى)، بينما تكونت عينة القطاع العام من عينة كلية عددها (98) موزعة إلى (46 ذكر، 50 أنثى). وقد استخدمت الدراسة مقياس الرضا الوظيفي إعداد/ الباحثة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى الرضا الوظيفي لدى أفراد العينة كان مرتفعا لدى العاملين بالقطاع الخاص عن العاملين بالقطاع العام، ويعزى ذلك إلى بعدي الراتب والمزايا وفرص النمو والترقى، والتأهيل والتدريب. كما يعزى الرضا الوظيفي إلى التدريب المهني لدى موظفي القطاع الخاص حيث كان أفضل وأعلى منه لدى موظفي القطاع العام. وأوصت الباحثة بعدد من التوصيات أهمها: ضرورة الارتقاء بمستوى التدريب والتعليم المهني والتقني إلى مستوى يلبي احتياجات أسواق العمل من الكفاءة المؤهلة، والتأكيد على ضرورة الشراكة بين القطاعين الخاص، والعام في إطار عمل مشترك.

This study aimed to describing the phenomenon of job satisfaction in the public and private sectors, finding the relationships between the different factors affecting the level of satisfaction in both sectors, and finally comparing the levels of job satisfaction among workers in the two sectors. The study sample consisted of (191) divided into two groups: the sample of the public sector, the sample of the private sector. The sample of the private sector consisted of a total sample of (93) distributed to (47 males and 48 females), while the sample of the public sector consisted of a total sample (98) distributed to (46 males, 50 females). The researcher used the job satisfaction measure of the researcher. The study results founded that there are high levels on the dimensions of job satisfaction scale. While low levels were founded in the dimensions of job satisfaction scale among workers in the public sector, especially at two dimensions: (wages satisfaction and promotion satisfaction). While higher levels of job satisfaction were found at the distance of (peer relations). In comparing the job satisfaction in both sectors, the level of job satisfaction was higher in the private sector due to the salary, benefits, and growth opportunities. As well as vocational training. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which is: the need to upgrade the level of vocational and technical education and training to a level that meets the needs of the labor markets of qualified competence, and emphasize the need for partnership between the private and public sectors in a common framework.
