المستخلص: يتناول هذا البحث خدمات المعلومات بالمكتبات الجامعية وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، حيث تحتل المعلومات في هذا العصر مركزا مرموقا من حيث الاهتمام بها من قبل المجتمع عموما، وفي المكتبات ومراكز المعلومات خصوصا، وعدت بمثابة الأنشطة والعمليات والوظائف والإجراءات والتسهيلات التي تقوم بها المؤسسات المعلوماتية متمثلة في العاملين لديها من أجل خلق الظروف المناسبة لوصول الباحث أو المستفيد إلى مصادر المعلومات التي يحتاجها المستفيد من أجل إشباع حاجاته ورغباته من المعلومات بأسرع الطريق وأيسرها، وشمل أيضا أنواع خدمات المعلومات، وتناول البحث أيضا تعريفات متعددة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، وخدمات المعلومات لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة كالخدمات الطبية والتعليمية وغيرها من الخدمات التي من الواجب تقديمها لهم، وأخيرا الوسائل التكنولوجية المساعدة والتقنيات المساندة لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة فمنها وسائل تكنولوجية مساعدة لذوي الإعاقة البصرية، الإعاقة السمعية واللغوية، الإعاقة العقلية والإعاقة الجسدية أو الحركية وذكر على سبيل السرد وليس الحصر لبعض التقنيات والوسائل التكنولوجية لسد احتياجات ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

This research addresses the information services in university libraries and people with special needs, where information occupies in this era a prominent center in terms of interest in it by society in general, and in libraries and information centers in particular, and promised as activities, operations, functions, procedures and facilities carried out by the information institutions represented by their employees In order to create the appropriate conditions for the researcher or the beneficiary to access the sources of information needed by the beneficiary in order to satisfy his needs and desires of information in the fastest and easiest way, it also included the types of information services, and the research also dealt with multiple definitions for people with special needs, and information services for people with special needs such as medical and educational services and others Among the services that should be provided to them, and finally, the assistive technology and supportive technologies for people with special needs, including assistive technology means for people with visual disabilities, hearing and language disabilities, mental disabilities, and physical or kinetic disabilities. He mentioned, but not limited to, some technologies and technological means to meet the needs of people with special needs.
