المستخلص: The article deals with the Algerian Internal trade during the Ottoman Period (1519- 1830) and Algiers as an illustration, especially in the multiple markets spreading inside and outside the towns. The article deals also with the different products and merchandise handled in these markets, as well as the different elements practicing the commercial activity such as traders, craftsmen, and the supervisors and managers of these markets, the employers appointed to collect the direct and indirect taxes and the commercial exchanges between the town of Algiers and other towns. The article aims at rehabilitating the national history in general and the history of Algeria during the Ottoman Period in particular focusing on the economic field especially the internal trade in Algiers the capital city of Algeria.

L’article ce penche sur le commerce intérieur de l’Algérie pendant la période Ottomane (1519- 1830) (Alger comme à titre échantillon), plus particulier les multiples et divers marches répandus à l’intérieur et extérieur de la ville, les différents produits et marchandises disponible dans ces marchés. Ainsi que les employés chargés de la collecte des impôts directs et indirects, en plus des échanges commerciaux entre Alger et les autres villes. Le but de cet article est raviver l’histoire nationale en général et l’histoire de l’Algérie pendant la période Ottomane en particulier se basent sur l’aspect économique et plus particulier le commerce intérieur dans la ville d’Alger la Capitale.
